how do you lock on to people when you have guns?? i press the left trigger and everything! its not locking on, ive tried pressing the left trigger half way! still not locking on. i dont get... somebody resolve this for me? thanks!

Actually, the sim thing kinda went out the window yesterday. I was walking down the street...waited til the crosswalk told me I could cross an intersection, and got hit by a car anyway. Then, the guy who hit me got out of his car and started yelling at me...pissed me off...so I killed him and took his car.

GAME ON!!

This is the first GTA game I've bought and I was thinking about playing it sim too.

Then I read this and thought "Man I would do the same thing".

I'll see how long my sim game goes.

I have the PS3 version BUT even though there seems to be tons of sliders in game i am starting to 'think" that the 360 has less blurry textures from afar. Not from close up extra but from afar. If you lookk at the buildings in the far left corner of these two pics the 360 version seems to be more definate and NOT because of contrast but more so about detail captures from the texture I would imagine.
thinking of trying out the 360 version now because it is rumored that the 360 version looks better on LCD's...

yeah I noticed that too. But the lighting looks better on the PS3.

I haven't gone crazy with the killing outside of the story line. Ran over a few people who wouldn't move (don't vehicles have the right away on a sidewalk? ). I still wondering what will happen if I kill someone in front of Michelle if we are on a date. Will have to try that.

I haven't gone crazy with the killing outside of the story line. Ran over a few people who wouldn't move (don't vehicles have the right away on a sidewalk? ). I still wondering what will happen if I kill someone in front of Michelle if we are on a date. Will have to try that.

its pretty realistic cool. id tell you, but i dont wanna ruin it for you lol

I was going to ask you guys who were saying the game was dark if you were playing on plasma's because i had no issue on my LCD

That said, Id rather see a blur afar off then to have people pop up and disappear randomly.

Honestly, going to this extreme though, at some point you guys have to realize that you are ruining gaming for yourself by no game can be perfect, then you turn around and pick at less than minute things because they arent.

My thoughts exactly...

I also haven't had any problems with the picture being to dark, or colors being so washed out it looks almost black and white.

It has to be something with either the TVs, or the way people have those TVs calibrated.

Oh, and PS: This game is absolutely awesome

haha yeah I kindve feel you on the "sim" thing though....I had fun driving, merging on the highway and everything....but then I realized I could stop at redlights,let pedestrians pass in real life....

so there went the entire sidewalk of people

Haha, I jacked a car while we were on a date...lets just say, she wasn't happy. Let me know how that murder on a date plays out.

Does anyone know when the other parts of the city start to open up? I am about %16.00 into the game and the police still have Algonguin still closed down.

I was about to play pool with my boy Jacob (even though I wanted to do a mission, but I said F it, might as well). When me and him hopped on the scooter to ride out, some *** crashed into us from behind and hurt Jacob. I was pissed at that moment, killed the guy and then called 911. Had to run from the scene though because the cops were on me. Jacob eventually called me from the hospital to come pick him up. He seemed like he was still cool and gave me much thanks so I don't think that really hurt our friendship. I just hate that it said "You injured Jacob" and I didn't do s***!

Here's a funny little story from my gameplay yesterday:

I had just got out of the hospital after getting my *** kicked by a homeless guy. So Im walking and decided to carjack this guy in an armored truck. I look around and notice no cops so I drag his a** out the truck, but dont get in.

As soon as I do that, the cops pull up but they don't give me a star. So, when the guy gets up, I calmly turn my back to him and begin to walk away. The guy is mad I made it seem like nothing happenned so he clocks me in the back of my head. Bad move, a**hole.


I yelled out at my TV "You gonna let this b**** do that to me officer ?" The cops tell the guy to freeze and they draw their guns on him and then arrest him. One cop opens the back door and the other cop escorts him to the backseat in handcuffs. I walk right behind this dirtbag criminal laughing my a** off the whole time. Poor armored truck driver guy.


So having just gotten away with an attempted carjacking, I'm feeling very I decide to make sure they lock this scumbag driver up for good. So I hop ontop of the police car and crouch down. I wanna make sure they take this jerk straight to lockup. Bad idea, Niko. The cops yell out "freeze!" again, only this time theyre talking to me. So now with both of the cops focusing on me, Mr. Scumbag Armored Truck Driver decides this is the perfect time to try and make a run for it, and he hops out of the backseat of the police car, handcuffed and all running like a madman.

Me being the law abiding citizen that I am , I catch Mr. Scumbag and knock his *** to the ground. Both of the cops approach us. And they both start firing. At both of us. Mr. Scumbag gets arrested yet again, and I get wasted.
