Which controller for GTA do you like more? Do you have more friends online with PSN or XBL? etc

the 360, not near the freezing issues + downloadable content later on (which won't be on ps3)

Depends on about 20 things.

I would say the main thing is whether you have more friends on XBL or PSN and if you are interested in the downloadable content or not.

That's what I needed to know. I was leaning toward to PS3 version just because GTA was originally a playstation game. I figured the graphics might be a little better as well.

That's really stupid that the 360 version gets downloadable content and the xbox version doesn't.

By the way, I know about the GTA series but I have never actually bought the game or really played it for a long time. I'm just getting into it but I have read some really good reviews today.

Cool man, the game is so great because it's a sandbox game, ie you can play it however you like it. Another game that comes to mind is Oblivion. Although they're nothing alike in style Oblivion is a sandbox type game too. IMO sandbox type games offer the best bang for the gaming buck by far.

I've read a ton of reports from reputable sites that say Microsoft paid Take Two/Rockstar $50 million to secure the EXCLUSIVE rights to DLC, I'll try to find a link to back this up, but this seemed like a pretty well known fact the way most sites talk about it....

Nothing specifies whether or not PS3 will be completely shut-out of DLC, but for $50 million I'm guessing Microsoft if expecting some high quality stuff...

yea i hear that if most people pay attention even rockstar has said that its a time thing for microsoft, so sony could get their own or may have to wait 12-18 months after its put out on microsoft

I have a ps3 copy but have yet to open it when i got home i look on here and game faqs.I see that ps3 is having problems with some disc? Is it all of them?

I think I'm at 19% also. My friend is at 17% but he's deeper in the story than me.


The cool thing about it is I don't know what missions that I have been doing that are consider "side missions" lol. Maybe it was scoring the past to times I dated Michelle? Or the times I took people to play pool? I never refused anyone on an offer unless I was on a mission. If that was the case, I'd call them directly after the mission. It's becoming a real hassle though. Especially pool, the ball physics are pissing me off.
