but seriously i'm dying not being able to play this game. This must be what going cold turkey is like.

PS: Don't ever buy a Sceptre monitor. They tend to die at the most inopportune times. It's funny, I know its dead but every time i read this thread I end up wasting 20 minutes trying to fix this junk. Only lasted 8 months.

Damn man, I think my longest time with this game is 4 something hours which is pretty weak.

I must really be slow at this game. I'm at 8.37% with 9+ hours in. I'm just now going after Vlad with my cousin. Yet, I'm loving every minute of it. Peace!!!!

Apparently i've skipped a couple missions (I can get back to them) to do one for Brucie

Search and Delete. Thank goodness for Wikicheats as I just found out when chasing Rivas I was going the wrong way! I think I'll be able to pass it next time I play

Brucie is one F'ed up dude and yes everyone in this world knows a Brucie.

BTW that scene between Niko and Faustin's wife was very touching and emotional. This game has some humor but damn does pull at the heartstrings at times.

Oh and the biker mission? I FINALLY passed it after failing for what seemed 50 times. I finally passed it in an unconventional way

I didn't make the jump and I was in a taxi. At least I caught up to the bikers and killed them.

I don't know how long it's going to take R* to make another GTA game but it better come in less then 2 years damnit!

Which one was that? The one where you had to kill the dude talking to his daughter? If so, you know you can avoid all of that by killing the biker early. If you kill him early enough he won't have time to catch up with the rest of his crew and the mission is much easier. Just get behind him pop out the uzi and cap him off the bike

After Dmitri sends you to kill Faustin, do you have a choice to either kill him or spare him at all? I got to the roof, and quickly blew him away with my Uzi but it sounded like he was about to say something so I wasnt sure. Secondly, after you kill Faustin, are you supposed to be 100% done with his story or not? I thought you would be but when I checked Im only 85.71%, yet there isnt a mission that I missed so Im a little confused at this point.

Nevermind, it worked itself out shortly after.

I just had my first encounter with Packie, so 3 Leaf Clover will be coming up sooner or later (I assume). I can't get over how freaking huge this game is. The only GTA I ever played prior to this one was Vice City, and I didn't get very far into that one. I mainly drove around and caused chaos. Right now, I can do 2-3 side missions that are cell phone activated, and like 4-5 regular missions. The depth is just amazing.

I have no idea how far I am in the game, but I'm going in for a job interview. I assume I'm not very far because I haven't unlocked Alderney yet.

By the way, I'm so glad I have a new cell phone that I can actually read. It has an orange background instead of that darkish color before. If you're frustrated with the first cell phone (like I was) once you unlock the middle island, you will get the phone shortly after.

Well...I beat the main story mode yesterday afternoon. Now, it's on to finishing all of the assassin missions and car stealing missions. I'm gunning for that 100%, dammit!
