re: Grand Theft Auto IV
Once you get the 6* rating, then come up out of the subway to street level and fight the cops off. There are plenty of subway loading stations underground where you can go back up street level. But, BEWARE.......the few times I did that, there were cops waiting for me in the stairwells with some heavy lead waiting
IMO, the suggested way is not cheap. As long as you come up out of the subway then you will DEFINITELY "EARN" the 5 minute survival XBL achievement, if you can survive....LOL!!! When I got my achievement this way, I stayed in the subway the majority of the 5 minutes but at the time, I was unaware of any such achievement. I was just driving around in the subway checking things out and knowing that I had a 6* level, I wanted to survive......LOL !!! All of a sudden the achievement popped up and I was like "WHAT??"Last edited by Hoos; 05-21-2008, 02:24 AM.XBL Gamertag: hoos4974

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
I earned a 6 star by driving in Star Junction tossing grenades out the side of the car going full speed. Got out, and shot down 2 choppers and killed every cop in the area. I thought for sure they would kill me, but I managed to actually get away from the 6 stars, which I thought was impossible. It was an 18 minute chase. I ended up in a copter, landed it on Happiness Island, swam for a bit, got in a boat, then back into a car, then into a 2nd chopper, and landed back in Star Junction, just out of the reach, and the 6 star was evaded. It was insane.Comment

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
I really miss the leveling up of weapons and skills in san andreas. If you had trouble with a mission, go do other ones, work up your AK47 skills, learn better hand to hand combat, or go to the driving school so you can drive a car like a wheelman. It was great. GTA4 was simply easier, since niko already knew how to do everything.
I'm just sad that when it's over, it's really over. There's nothing else at all to do in the city but go on rampages. At least in san andreas you had all kinds of toys to play with when you finished. Fighter jets, monster trucks, jetpack, modded cars, etc. The DLC doesn't come out for months, and if it's just new islands or multiplayer modes, people will be disappointed.Comment

SpoilerThat scene where Manny got shot left my mouth on the floor, I was just amazed - felt like watching a movie. But I didn't care he got shot, the dude was annoying as hell and as much a poser as Playboy X.

Has anyone else been able to get into cabs as passengers? Every time I try I jack the vehicle. Is there a trick to doing this?

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
yeah, and I recall them saying how songs play at random, yet I don't hear that at all. Since I've played it for a little more that 50 hours for just the single player stuff, I've come to notice how blocks of songs are always the same. War is necessary plays before flashing lights every single time, then the song after that is always the same as well. The same happens on radio broker as well.
It's not a big deal, but they shouldn't say it plays at random when it obviously doesn't. It's easy to notice when you play it a lot, as you've heard the sequence many man many times by then.
The Beat and the Reggae station (what they play in the pool hall) are definitely mixtapes.Comment
