Yeah, they should really go back to the hidden packages (and only 100 of them).

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
hehe yeah my thoughts exactly. The stunt jumps are fine because at least they look cool but tracking down 200 flying rats does not = fun for me.
I even tried downloading a map to make it easier but that was still frustrating because the dots on the map showed where it was but not what level it was on so sometimes they were on top of the building, othertimes underneath it etc. Sure i could go and watch a youtube vid to find out where everyone of them are but once again that does not = fun.
To make it even worse everytime you shoot one you get a wanted star so you have to get away from the cops before going onto the next one....Comment

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
Still chugging along. My playlist is just to many games. Mlb The Show 08, GTA4, RBSV2, COD4, MSG4, and now NCAA 09. Just to many games and Madden 09 is soon to follow. I usually take my time with games not one to blow through a game in 6-8 hours it usually takes me months to finish a game. Peace!!!The poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
I'm back from vacation, so I'll be playing this again (at least until Madden comes out).
While I was away, was there any news about the GTA IV downloadable content?Comment

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
I just got back into this game over the last weekend.
I bought it on the release date and played quite a bit for the first two or three weeks. I made it to like 48%, got stuck on a mission, and didn't touch it until I saw my girlfriend trying to play it a few days ago. I fired it up saturday and I've been playing the **** out it for the last few days. I'm sure I'll probably become bored with it again before I finish, but I'm at the point now where I'll finish it just to see how the story finishes.
I swear my favorite thing about this game is still driving across the city for a mission and seeing the city off in the distance during a sun set, or a sun rise, or all lit up at night. The city itself is easily the most impressive part of the game for me.Now, more than everComment

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
You know... As much as I loved it the first two weeks, I haven't touched it since. I don't know why but for some reason it didn't keep me on the edge of my seat like GH3 or SA did.
Those two games I could hardly put down. When I go downstairs to play a game now, for some reason I'd prefer to play APF2k8 or Rock Band. GTA 4 sits at the bottom of my game pile right now.
I have no idea why, but after I didn't play it for a few days I really had no draw to pick it back up again.Comment

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
I traded it in on the 360 the other day but still have it on the PS3. I got the collectors edition and I got to say for 90 bucks it is a great value if you can find one.follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
Just finished the game earlier today, good stuff.. <O</O
<O</O
It got a little slow for a while but once you get past 50% or so it really started to pick back up. For the last decision I went for revenge against Dimitri. I'm not sure why but I was kind of surprised when Kate died at the wedding. I guess part of me was expecting Roman would get married and the game would end on a happy note, lol. <O</O
<O</O
For those of you that made the deal instead of revenge, how did the game end for you guys? Does Kate forgive ya for making the deal or does she really break up with you? I was kind of disappointed I was never able to tap that ***, lol. After all those dates she dies before I get to close the deal. Talk about the ultimate tease... <O</O
<O</O
Also, is the game worth playing after the main story is finished? There's no way I'm doing that pigeon thing. There are those assassination missions that I've only finished one of. There's also those random people scattered across the city. I've completed a few of those so far and they're somewhat interesting. I really haven't completed too many side missions so maybe I'll do some of those as well. <O</O
<O</O
I'm kind of disappointed the story is finished though. I love driving around, doing missions, and just admiring the amazing work R* did with the city. IMO, it really is a great work of art. I'm just afraid I won't be motivated to play the game anymore now that I don't have any real missions to do. I dunno, maybe I'll start the game over and make some different decisions. <O</O
<O</O
Now that I'm finished with the game I'll be really disappointed if the exclusive content for the 360 turns out to be something cool. Hopefully whatever it is it will come to the PS3 before too long. How cool would it be to be able to jump back into the game a few months from now with some new missions or a new twist to the story? Though all in all it was a great game, probably the best gaming experience I've had this "generation" and I can't wait for the next version.<O</O
