Re: Lack Of Video Game Leisure Time As You Get Older

I have the hardest time getting people to leave me alone so I can play in peace the way I want to. With three roommates it's basically impossible. None of them play a whole lot but if they see me playing they want to play or whatever. And obviously none of them are sim like I am so they either don't understand the way I play or why I put time into franchise mode, etc.

You know, gaming is like sex, think about it all the time, but it happens far too less for my liking...you married guys know what I am talking about:wink:
      amen.

When i actually have an hour or so to play, I'm too tired. My 13 month old son wears me out but goes to bed about 8-8:30 everyday. Sometimes I'll sit there and too tired to put the game in the tray. Sad..back in college my roomates and I would play years of dynasty mode in madden like it was nothing.

I'm excited about the NCAA online dynasty mode cause we could all do it again even though we all live in different states.

Well, this thread has made me appreciate the wholesome amount of gaming time I have right now. Next year around this time I'll be graduating from college, starting my first real job, etc. Until then, my PS3 is getting quite a workout!

Hopefully I'll be able to find time for gaming even after my life gets busier. It's a hobby I really enjoy.

Does it seem like the older you get, the busier you get? Not by design, but I have something going on constantly. I am a teacher, just started summer vacation, I should be basking here, unlimited gaming opportunities...but noooooo! I am busier during the summer, than during the school year. I get more gaming opportunities during the school year. Makes absolutely no sense. So the lack of gaming time is my fault, I need to get my priorities straight:wink:
