Re: Rock Band 2
You have to have the disc for the achievements. I didn't see anything for installing the disc, I had a code in mine where I downloaded the game from XBL, I actually would have never needed to put the disc in the system to have it.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
Because it downloads as one massive file, you don't have the option to delete individual songs if you actually wanted to.
It's weird playing the actual disc because it's exactly like RB1 and so it's more difficult to see hammer-ons. I wonder once I pop in RB2 and play the songs if they'll be louder crowd sing-a-longs or not.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

How did you get a code where you didn't need the disc?Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
You basically can't. The code is on the manual so you essentially have to buy the disc. He's just say the disc isn't necessary to play it but if you want achievements, you gotta play the songs on the disc (atleast once).
Has anyone passed the intro to Thunderstruck yet? I failed pretty quick. My fingers simply won't tap fast enough.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Do you tap straight down everytime or do you move the strum bar up and down?Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
Weird, apparently when you play Thunderstruck from RB2 and not the AC/DC disc, the intro is different. It's no longer all hammer-ons which makes it even more difficult.
EDIT: Different video now. It's on breakneck speed but still shows the chart.

Re: Rock Band 2
Seems like Thunderstruck is the only one re-charted for RB2 for some reason. It's like the download version is a different file than the disc one.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
The AC/DC songs alone are more interesting, at least for a music game. I need to switch over to rock band. Even the DLC looks better.Comment
