Maybe $25 and even $30 may not be bad since some parts of the country don't have walmarts.

So you need the disc to get the achievements but you can upload the songs onto Rock Band 2 and sell the disc?

You have to have the disc for the achievements. I didn't see anything for installing the disc, I had a code in mine where I downloaded the game from XBL, I actually would have never needed to put the disc in the system to have it.

Because it downloads as one massive file, you don't have the option to delete individual songs if you actually wanted to.

It's weird playing the actual disc because it's exactly like RB1 and so it's more difficult to see hammer-ons. I wonder once I pop in RB2 and play the songs if they'll be louder crowd sing-a-longs or not.

You basically can't. The code is on the manual so you essentially have to buy the disc. He's just say the disc isn't necessary to play it but if you want achievements, you gotta play the songs on the disc (atleast once).

Has anyone passed the intro to Thunderstruck yet? I failed pretty quick. My fingers simply won't tap fast enough.

                    Ah gotcha...I'm an idiot.

Do you tap straight down everytime or do you move the strum bar up and down?

It's all hammer-ons for about a minute straight. I guess the reason it's only tier 4 is because the rest of the song isn't difficult.

Weird, apparently when you play Thunderstruck from RB2 and not the AC/DC disc, the intro is different. It's no longer all hammer-ons which makes it even more difficult.

EDIT: Different video now. It's on breakneck speed but still shows the chart.

Seems like Thunderstruck is the only one re-charted for RB2 for some reason. It's like the download version is a different file than the disc one.

Well, I think he picked it in the studio and when he played it live he usually used legato. Dunno if that's the reason it's different but he does play it both ways..

yeah, it's scary...since the game sucked. For a dedicated band game, they left all kinds of Aerosmth hits off, had two versions of Walk This Way, zero DLC, two cover songs from "opening acts" in each set, and the hardest song for me was the stone temple pilots song in the final set at the rock and roll hall of fame. Huge letdown.

The AC/DC songs alone are more interesting, at least for a music game. I need to switch over to rock band. Even the DLC looks better.
