    Re: DC Universe Online (PS3/PC)

So I took the tour of Watchtower last night and got tons of info from the different heroes I met, but I can't really remember what each hero said and where they were. Wasn't I told that there are some daily challenges I should check out and some daily alerts as well? Who and where do I go to find these? Martian Manhunter told me to go on an alert yesterday (Area 51) after I just got done playing it, but I did it again. Was that a daily alert?

I guess what I'm asking is what are the "daily" challenges or whatever that change on a day to day basis that I can do, and who and where do I go to in order to access them. I've never played a game to this scale before and the huge environment, NPC characters, missions, leveling up, roles, and everything is pretty overwhelming. Like I don't even know what you guys are talking about with these Marks and armor levels, I guess you have to be a high level for this stuff to matter?

Daily challenges are for level 30 players only. Solo daily challenges give you marks of allegiance which you can buy useless armor (mostly used for style collections), special soda, or trade 10 marks of allegiance for 1 mark of triumph. Duos, alerts, and so forth give you marks of triumph after beating a boss and these can be used to buy T1 armor. Distinction is given for completing the daily challenges that have a star next to it. With this you are able to buy T2 armor, also known as iconic.

On a side note, TO Morrow's hideout is accessible again which means I can now go back and try to get that android Batman helmet.

Yep, Joker drops a Batman android helm... or he did before the patch. It would have made more sense if the android Batman dropped it instead. I played the TO Morrow hideout three times today and haven't gotten lucky. The helmet is **** gear but there is better gear.

You can redo any mission where you enter a place as many times as you want; just go to the yellow circle and enter. For example, the Poison Ivy mission can be done as many times as you want... but the challenge mode can only be done once a day.

Before the big patch I had maybe 2-3 freezes in two weeks but now it's 2-3 freezes a day. It is becoming a very frustrating issue. I'm debating about deleting all the data and reinstalling/redownloading.

I have yet to have that freeze *crosses fingers* on another note, I got back on today and ran T.O. Morrows mission and the first run through the Joker dropped the batman helm, it's actually as really good helm it's better than the brother Eye Helm from the Duos, I think I will farm it and get another helm then sell it one the Auction House.

It isn't better than the OMAC helmet (I have that one) but it looks damn cool and is pretty rare and probably why it sells for WAY more at the Auction house than the OMAC one.

BTW, I did mention this already a couple of times earlier (about the mission being opened up and making it available for everyone now).

If someone wants to run it over and over with me so we can both get that helm let me know (I just want it for the looks not the stats, although they are pretty good).

I would be up for running it until we both get it, well it's on part at least just brother eye helm has more health and the batman one gives more might all other stats are the same

Yea honestly they are both pretty close in stats, but I prefer the much larger boost to health it gives (since I'm a Tank) so I may be biased. But the Batman helm drops much less I think, hence the huge disparity in price at the AH.

As far as us trying to farm for it together, I'm down for sure. I'll try to be on quite a bit tomorrow after I get out of my early morning class.

Well I went ahead and deleted all the data and am redownloading. Last night was the final start as I froze on the last boss of Smallville and wasn't able to get back.

Do you have to be lvl 30 for this mission? Eventually I'll be up for running it, but don't think I've seen this mission yet (haven't played this week, been kinda busy, so almost 30 still)

It's a Batman mentor mission only. If you have another mentor then you can't enter it without a Batman mentor person with you.

I haven't seen the android Batman helmet on sale since the AH opened so if you were able to put one on sale, I'm sure you would be able to be loads of cash.
