I haven't paid attention to the music until pretty recently but I loved Red Dead's, LA Noire's, and Max Payne 3's

All of Nintendo's games. Generally speaking.

LA Noire was well done and I loved the moods it set.

Some favorite video game moments thanks to music:
POWER in Saints Row 3. Seriously made the beginning of that mission epic as ****.

Black Sabbath opening up Brutal Legend (and that whole soundtrack is great).

Public Enemy intro from NFL Fever 2002.
A game that had it's faults but still a game I believe didn't get the love it deserved. I'm not even a fan of rap music but I absolutely loved this intro and think I watched it from start to finish everytime I put this game in.

Re: Favorite Video Game Music Of All Time?

Couple boss themes from the 2 most recent Persona games:

The Battle for Everyone's Souls - Persona 3
                          <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/rdMhTL5bZrs?rel=0" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="420"></iframe>
Harder mix of a song you hear plenty of throughout the game. And you'll hear plenty of this one too before you're done with the game.

                          I'll Face Myself - Battle - Persona 4
                          <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/_58-XYXuJMs?rel=0" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="420"></iframe>
There's also a softer version that plays outside of battle (the title is significant in this case), as well as a hilarious 8-bit version at one point in the game.
