I've heard that you have to be close to the same level and have the same quests "open". Not sure though as I haven't opened my copy yet. Playin a few others before I dive into this one.

I played coop with a friend who was about 20 levels higher than I was and never ran into this problem. I had heard that the lowest level person should host the game so I always hosted it and invited him, and that always seemed to work so give that a try.

Sweet, thank you very much.... My icon on the radar was way off, did you have that same problem with this one? Or was it because I picked the pieces up out of order or something?

The quest icon thing only puts you in the general area for scavenger hunts.

it was stated earlier in the thread, on the scavenger hunts, look for the moneybag on your radar, it tells you exactly where the pieces are.

I was curious how many of you kept Sledge's shotgun for a while? I have shotguns that do more damage and obviously have better accuracy, but every time I see it does 150% melee damage, and +106% damage as well as the +10,000% burst fire count, I just can't bring myself to sell it.

I used that shotgun for a long time. Great gun. Eventually I found a better shotgun that sets people on fire, but Sledge's shotgun and I had a lot of good adventures.

I did the same thing with the exact same reasoning but was running out of inventory space. I sold it. Besides, I had a Lvl 23 shotgun that I use even at the current level I am now, which is somewhere in the mid to upper 30's. The damage it does, coupled with accuracy, is far better than any of the other shotguns I came across.

well I just beat the game and I've got to say...

                          Spoiler

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the game. As good as Red Faction Guerilla was, this has to be my sleeper hit of the year. I'm going to play through a second time to finish off the achievements, then patiently wait for the DLC to slay some zombies.
