Not a big FPS guy, wondering if the single player is worth buying. For reference, I know i'm renting MW2 since the Single Player there isn't the main draw.

Definitely worth it, IMO.

Co-op is really fun, no doubt...but I almost prefer to play SP and go at my own pace.

If I have one complaint about the game - it's that you can't skip scenes. I can't tell you how annoying it is when I go to load a game and accidentally hit "new character" and either have to sit through 5 minutes of video or just quit out of the game and reload the entire thing.

Pretty dumb decision by them.

Agreed. Playing both ways does give a nice variety. Seems like the battles were more hectic playing with 3 others on co-op last night.

I've got a PS3 and I already run with three other guys but two of them are busy all the damn time. You're more than welcome to join-in with us. We hate the freaking mic system on PSN and Borderlands so we use a Ventrilo server instead to communicate.

it's also annoying once you've beaten the game, to have to sit through every single scene again.

Anyone know whether it's better to play the Dr. Ned DLC at the end of my first playthrough, or during the 2nd? I think I'll grab this soon, sounds fun!

Just finished the main story. Was level 33 when I did it. Was pretty funny actually, had run out of ammo, sniping from way back on the last boss and thought 'screw this' and ran in with Sledge's double shotgun and took heaps of health off it. Got killed and was in the last stand/chance thing and luckily killed the boss during it :P

Is there anything worthwhile playing the rest of the quests for?

Oh and does anyone know what the yellow claptrap hidden on top of one of the houses in Fyrestone is all about? I can get on the roof but there's invisible barriers stopping me getting to him?

That claptrap isn't anything that I know of...I didn't do anything with him and got all the possible claptrap rescues for the backpack spots.

The other quests (as any in this game) are just a reason to kill crap, get guns, get xp. You can either re-play the game in a 2nd playthrough (but still have access to your first) or just finish the other quests first.

I do recommend trying to find all the claptraps to rescue, it's nice having more spots to hold loot.

Oh and apparently the new DLC will add a bank to store all of your excess loot which is pretty cool!

I was planning on renting this and MW2 to see which one i wanted to buy, but they didnt have any more copies of Borderlands in. I am going to pick up one of these 2 games in the near future, but I wanted to know which game has more of an enjoyment factor? I know they are different types of games, but to those who have played both, which one do you enjoy more?
