      After a bit more research today I think that's only for the special edition. It's the ME2 armor that's included in every version. There's apprently some digital download special edition for PC that comes with Warden's Keep too.

      Though you'll mow down hundreds of darkspawn and thugs, you'll rarely feel the satisfaction that comes with a hard-won victory.
      Mowing down = fun.
      Close victory probably = frustratingly failing 3 times before winning.
      I'll take the mowing down!

      Gamesradar review, got one of those super reviews they do sometimes,9/10:

      Is it better than…

      Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic? Yes.

      Mass Effect? Yes

      The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion ? Yes and no. If you haven't played either, it'd be a tossup between the two

      You'll love

      * About 80 hours of RPG goodness
      * Memorable characters
      * An excellent combat system

      You'll hate

      * Difficulty can be frustrating at times
      * Story feels a little generic at times
      * Doing it in your underwear

        I gave up on my Rogue around level 6 since I kept getting whooped too. Every skirmish seems like it has at least 5-6 enemies and it gets too hectic and difficult to stay behind enemies without having them target you. I started a Mage instead and up through the first boss in the tower he feels far more powerful.

          So far, I have started a warrior (Dwarf Noble), rogue (Human Noble), and mage. Haven't had a problem yet with any of the 3 in terms of feeling too overpowered.

          Although, the rogue was a bit tougher until I got Alistair the Threaten ability.

            Is it possible to scale down the difficulty on the PC version? I know it is supposed to be challenging, but am just wondering.

            Anyone playing this on PC hooked up to a 1080p HDTV? If so, how are the graphics and is everything legible from couch view about 8-9 ft away?

            I slept on it as I was kind of busy yesterday, but I think I am going to download the PC version after work.

              I have the regular PC version, and it came with codes for both the Blood Dragon Armor, and the Stone Prisoner.

              Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

              Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

                Re: Dragon Age: Origins

                Well, where do I begin? This game is freakin awesome!! As stated before, I am an old school rpger, I started out on Ultima III, Wizardry I, and Phantasy I, Final Fantasy etc... What I have been missing in current iterations of rpg's is the team, story aspect of the game. Oblivion, as great as it was, left me longing for a game with a great cohesive story with comrades to travel and conquer with. I got that somewhat in Mass effect, and kotor, but they were set in a science fiction atmosphere. I like the lord of the rings type setting for my rpg's better.

                From the opening bell, I felt at home with this game. I chose the path of the Dalish, rogue, elf. The back story is very compelling and well thought out. The graphics? c'mon man, just look at the games I started out on, graphics will never be a problem for me in rpg's, it is the story that drives these games. Since great stories drives rpg's, this game is driven by the cat from the Transporter movies!

                I must admit, I am getting a headache trying to understand the tactics feature, I don't know what the hell I am doing regarding that, right now in battle, I just step back and fire away with the longbow. I will take the time to read the manual later.

                Again, a great game, it has an epic feel to it. It is like playing a lord of the rings type movie.

                    Not to me. Are the graphics as good as oblivion or ME? no. The graphics are great in some places, avg in some places and passable in others. The game in its totality is a definite 9.

                      Ok, because i've been worried now for 2 days the graphics will be very Xbox'ish (the original) and not up to next-gen because of the comments some folks have posted in here.

                        Yep. I'll cosign with Solo. I have the regular 360 version & if you the dragon armor card over there is a code for the stone prisoner DLC. I think it might be 1200 ms points if you don't have the code. It just an incentive to buy the game new.

                        @ ODogg. The graphics are not great, but they are not XBOX quality either. The visuals don't take away from the experience IMO.

                          Ok, well that's the main thing, that they don't detract. If I like the game enough I may just go buy on the PC right away instead of waiting for the PC game of the year edition like Novastar and I discussed.

                          I just sunk a bunch of money into my PC with a GT260 graphics card so it should be able to run it really well. It's just I play my 360 so much more as it's more enjoyable usually to sit in my leather lazy boy and play on a 67" screen instead of sitting in a computer chair and playing on a 24" screen.

                          Does anyone know if the PC version supports dual screen setups by any chance??

                            Compared to Uncharted 1 & 2 and Batman, these graphics are lame big time. GTAIV which some have criticized graphically is better then this though glad folks are enjoying the game. To each their own. Game on!
