How do you get your code? Do you have to apply for something like the resistance beta?

I googled Mag Beta and it sent me to a place to enter. Last night checked my e-mails and low and behold it was a code. Took a couple of hours to dload which sucked. Gonna play more later

I think its 'nda so we cant talk much about it. I will say at first it is very overwhelming but once you learn it your hooked. Love the upgrade system. they will unlock more modes next week after gamesacon is done.

I'm in the beta, and it's a disappointment. My recommendation: don't buy it.
If you're looking for a first person shooter (which this game is- it's not a 256 player SOCOM-style third person shooter, as advertised) this winter, get Call of Duty 4 II.

This will crash and burn. Sorry to ruin the surprise.

I am enjoying it myself. Its overwhelming at first but once you understand how it works its fun. I did create a OS clan today if anyone else wants to be in it let me know.

This game reminds me very much of the Battlefield series. It's a bit more hardcore in a sense that you don't have a couple people owning an entire team with a helicopter or a tank. You get attribute and point boosts whenever you stick with your squad or when you follow orders.

I don't know why anyone would compare this game to Call of Duty, however. Two totally different beasts.

its like a MUCH bigger version of BF bad company. right now, each side has 64 people seperated in 2 platoons of 32. in that 32 you have 4 squads of 8 people. each squad can be given different orders from the platoon commander based on rank.

they have said repeatedly that this was always going to be 1st person.

I have seen the question asked numerous times about how you guys actaully got into the beta. Was there a registration for it months ago?

Look forward to the "impressions" that you guys in the beta cant give.

I think because I was in the GAP panel from the old playstation underground. I know they are adding a lot more soon to the beta.
