I love playing with the Japanese. Most of the time no speaking, but everyone does their job. Usually easy wins. Mics are overrated in this game.

I second that. It's like group-think at its finest: everyone and their little brother just HAS to mention how important mics are in this game. I could give a **** if anyone's using their mic or not. Aside from telling people "don't bleed out, I'm coming," I rarely have much to say. It's all pretty self-explanatory: guard or attack the objectives, don't get killed.

Not downplaying mic-use in general, of course it has many uses and advantages, but this somewhat pervasive attitude that MAG "requires" a mic is silly. Everything you need to know is on the mini-map. And it's not like guys are always talking strategy: half the time, if they're not whining, they're talking about something random.

Well said, KILZPWN. FRAGO points are an ingenious solution for those with or without mics.

I hate the people who get shot and scream for a medic constantly. Some of them even get pissed. This one dude was cussing at me because I wasn't getting there fast enough and he was laying around some other bodies so he was hard to find. So I tea bagged him and let him die. Never tea bagged someone on my team before.

I really hate that. Soon as someone gets dropped: "Medic! Medic! Medic!" Like by just saying that you automatically know where they are. They don't seem to understand that I want to revive them more than they want to get back up.

Don't write if off too quickly, if you don't enjoy it. The game gets more fun as you go along.

Healing people is a great way to get XP. Killing someone gets you 5 XP, while healing people when they are downed gets you 10 XP.

Play with the volume cranked (and if you don't have surround sound, wear headphones). Nothing I've ever played sounds as good as this game during Domination & Acquisition.

I play as SVER, so it might be different with other factions, but I'd recommend the machine gun opposed to the assault rifle to start with. It holds more ammo and packs more punch.

That's about it. Have fun. Game is awesome, imo.

SVER map is a pain when trying to take it in sabotage. But the last game we (Valor) too all 3 spots in under 5 minutes. It was just crazy. I need to get some of that nerve gas as it does wonders in keeping people away from an area.

Unlocked the reflex sight and the 2nd assault rifle. Playing so much better now.

I got the 4x sight and suppresor the other night...games realyl fun now.

Also, if you want Frago points , stay close to your squad leader. I think you get points for doing things near him.
