If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -
Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
Just finished story mode on Tuesday. I'm now going back to find all of the Riddler trophies and such. I'm 75% complete. This is only the 2nd game I've ever finished (SW: KOTOR was the first). Absolutely loved it and can't wait for the next one.
SpoilerI had so much trouble getting past the Poison Ivy battle and the first part of the Joker battle. I wanted to throw my controller through the TV at times. But I felt such a sense of relief and accomplishment when I finally passed them, that it was all worth it!
I couldn't believe that after I thought I beat Ivy the first time, I had to go and do it again, but with baddies coming at me as well...MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies
NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
NHL: Pittsburgh Penguins
NBA: Denver Nuggets, Orlando Magic
NCAA: Penn State Nittany Lions, Boston College EaglesComment

You won't get 100% unless you complete all the challenges. I can't beat a lot of the combat ones, so I won't be getting 100%.Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
Chefdad's late to the party as always but I just picked this one up over the weekend and put about 4 hours in last night. Incredible so far, but I think I'm going to start from the begining again so I can actually enjoy it now that I know a little bit about what I'm doing.
Edit; BTW I went through this entire thread! lolOriginally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
Just finished. Awesome Game. Finished at 80%. Don't know whether I will take it back or not as I had a lot of fun.
SpoilerI unlocked a really cool looking Armored Batman Suit that only seems playable during challenge mode.EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

I rarely keep one-player games and sport's titles however, this is one of the game that I kept because I will probably want to play through it again in the future. The only other one player games I've kept (that I can think of) are UC2 and Heavy Rain.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
It's one of the few games that I haven't traded in. Most of the games I keep are 2 player games that I can play with friends when they come over. Game like Gears of War 1 & 2, Halo 3 & ODST, Resistance ect.

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
Well, I decided to start over. Only 4 hours in or so. But I got to
SpoilerSome place where the riddle was there are many sides to a puzzle but some aren't seen. (Or something like that)
And as I was looking around I saw a question mark on a window. I couldn't for the life of me figure it out, easily spent 35 minutes looking around it.
Then my son (7) comes in to watch and notices the dot to align to the question mark on a wall and says duh right there. So I lined em up and snapped the shot or whatever and completed the riddle. But I gotta say even though I looked like an idiot to my son that was an awsome puzzle. Looking forward to more of those!! This game is great!Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. I figure I'm going to go through the first time and try and get as many as I can. After the first play through I'm gonna do like Dane Cook once said and CHEAT!!!Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon.
