Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
When I enter different rooms or part of the map, a saying/riddles will pop up... am I supposed to do something with that? Like one said, twiddle dee and twiddle dum found it... or something like that. Just not sure if those are hints for things when they pop up or what?

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
You can do them any time you like, even after the game is over. Oh you've gotta break all the chattering teeth things too.
In other news PC pirates have been foiled (for now at least,I'm sure they'll come up with something) http://kotaku.com/5356752/deliberate...ham-pc-piratesComment

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
Hell they should turn this game into a movie. But anyway, 2 million copies for an up and coming company as Rocksteady is a huge success on many levels. The most important level is that it shows would be game developers that are in college now, that hey you dont have to work for a huge well known videogame company to have success.
Far too long over the past 5 years or so I heard so many kids say they only want to work for EA, Rockstar, 2K or Capcom. But here is proof that shows everybody that if done right, gamers will buy it, no matter if they heard of your company before or not.
This game truly did sell by word of mouth. Sure they had commercials for it, but really I only seen the commercial only 2 or 3 times. That compared to the almost 100 times UFC Undisputed commercial that aired in April and May. Or the 40 times the Godfather 2 commercial aired.Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
there is a joker map in every section too. Once you find that, all the riddles and trophy locations will be on your map. You will see a green "?" moving around. My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
SpoilerThere are 3 endings: Scarecrow, Killer Croc and Bane (I got Bane). Supposedly it is entirely random. Not really worth playing again just for the ending; all you see is the hand coming out of the water and grabbing the box.Comment

Spoileri beat it on normal and and got scarecrow, my friend who also beat it on normal got croc. maybe it's not random, but it has nothing to do with difficulty settings.Comment

For example, there's a bio on Great white shark, but I highly doubt he's actually in the game as some type of boss, right or wrong?Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
I am really enjoying the game so far. The combat is so smooth and deceptively deep that I actually welcome the fights against the various thugs.
And the game itself reminds me of a combination of the Dark Night Movie and the Arkham Asylum graphic Novel with a touch of the cartoon thrown in for good measure (loved how they got the actors from the series to voice Bats, Joker, and Harley Quin).Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
Well, didn't actually look at the reference, but, I'm not referring to villain references, I mean villains that you actually have to deal with.
For example, there's a bio on Great white shark, but I highly doubt he's actually in the game as some type of boss, right or wrong?
Game is sweet though, but my personal review is now 8.5 for lack of super villain encounters.
Devs could've did better than that, I expected more out of them.Comment
