Just from playing the demo I'm buying this game!
I told two others about this game who did not even care about the game before I told them to play the demo, after they played BOTH of them decided to buy it!
I think this game is that good and most def a sleeper hit!

Uh, that's not that long. I know I like to pace myself more than that (and play different games in between so I don't get it over with so quickly), but that is pretty short nonetheless, especially to shell out $60 for and probably not very replayable (for others it probably is, but I struggle to replay single player campaign modes over and over again).

Probably in much the same way the Fallout 3 DLC is exclusive to the 360.

The Fallout DLC has yet to come to the ps3 though so that's probably a bad example.

I broke down yesterday and pre-ordered on Amazon.com for 47.99 w/ free shipping. You can't beat that price when games last gen were $53 after tax & $64 this gen usually. This game seems like a legit GOTY contender and a really good deal for less than 50 clams.

At a special preview event taking place yesterday Rocksteady's Sefton Hill confirmed that The Joker will only be playable on the PS3 version and said that due to a exclusivity deal with Sony he will not be playable on the Xbox 360 at anytime in the future.

He did have some good news for 360 fans though, confirming that the firm are working on new downloadable content for both Xbox 360 and PS3.

                          Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum

Wow just finished the game and I have to say it was fun ride from beginning to end.

Like Tiko said its filled with a lot of twists and just when you think you finished all of a sudden it pulls you right back in again.

I won't go into story details unless you guys ask don't want to ruin anything but I'll talk about one thing I really liked about the game.

My favorite thing about this game is it truly makes you feel like Batman. The reason for that is the game is a real thinking man's game where mistakes work against you heavily.

I'm not saying you can't you can't make mistakes but if you do make them you need to know how to recover.

Having a plan B, C, and sometimes D is very helpful in this game. Especially in the predator sections where s*** can just hit the fan at times.

The goons aren't that smart but their sheer numbers and fear can help them. Some parts in the game really make you feel like how the hell am I going to get out of this.

Things you may think are clever can actually be very stupid. The amount of foresight you need can be crazy at times, because you need to be worried about so many different things when attacking someone.

Some things you have to worry about can be as simple as knowing where all the enemies are. To more advanced thought processes like knowing how a fallen buddy can effect the groups mentality.

Will they adapt the buddy system (which sounds easy but its not) or will they go lone wolf? Or knowing whether or not setting a trap is worth it.

Anybody that enjoys planning ahead and having plans B and C will love this game. Anyways if you guys have any questions I'll try and answer them as best as I can.
