I got this but haven't opened it yet. Can't decide if I should see the movie first.

If you're hesitant on the movie, there's nothing I've played so far that would be a spoiler, but I'm only through the first 2 levels.

Unless the movie is different than I'm expecting, this is more of a total flashback into the current timeline.

Are there more and more cool moves to make it a little less repetitive as you go on? I know it's GoW-esque, and this style of play is slightly repetitious in a good way, but I played through the demo and it felt fun. Tempted to drive by Frys and see if they have it at 45 bucks, even when I sell it then it'd be a good deal. Otherwise I'll wait for GF, but that could take a while.

*Edit* Eh, Frys had it at the cheaper price, figured why not...the demo had me wanting more.

I have this game for PC, and I use a ps2 controller to play it with an adapter. When I play though, up goes back, and back goes up on the analog stick. I don't know how to fix this. I've tried other ps2 controllers and it's the same. This is the only game I have a problem with. Any suggestions?

Played through the first level and was sad I had to stop so I could catch the Derby...It's so much fun, and the repetition doesn't bug me. I think it helps I'm a big Wolverine fan and it's just awesome to cut the hell out of enemies.

The Gamestop exclusive Weapon X room is damn cool. Surprised it wasn't a generic code, it's an actual download from XBL with a redeemable code. Had some fun stuff to do in there, like the dislimb mode. LOL

Tried the demo. Wasn't a fan of the movie, but it looks like they got the game right at least. Bloodiest Wolvie I've ever seen in a video game, very nice. I'll definitely pick this up later on down the road.

The game is what you expect Wolverine to be. That's what is sucking me in...I don't mind killing tons of guys with similar moves, because that's Wolverine. The health regen looks awesome graphically, and how they deal with "killing" wolverine works well. It's just fun, something that most super hero movie games aren't.

                      Holy Crap!

That was some of the most fun I've had with a slasher game in some time.

if theres depth to the controls, and not just a hack-n-slash im down.. but mindlessly mashing buttons for erroneous animations and over the top blood and gore isnt reall my idea of fun.

                            that gets boring fast.

I think they did a great job of letting you feel in control of your moves, ala God Of War. There's a light and heavy attack as well as a grab button, plus holding down the triggers allows for more advanced techniques. It's very well balanced.

Oh, and the cut scenes in this game a SWEET.
