I'm curious because I have a 20 GB hard-drive and have thought of bumping up to 120 GB. I think the price oft the drive is a little expensive but I can probably trade in some games and maybe get a used one. I'm a little tired of having to delete stuff from my hard-drive due to space issues. Plus, I imagine the load time might be quicker playing off of the hard-drive.
I am in the same exact boat. I have a 20GB and I was looking at the upgrade, then I saw the price and said no.

I install one disk at a time. Once it prompts you for disk 2, you can uninstall the disc 1 and you will be set with disk 2 until you jump the Omega 4 relay. Once you jump, it will prompt you for disk 1 again.

The load times are slightly faster, and I like installing it for the noise reduction of the 360. I have not frozen up once. The only time I had to restart was when I magically started climbing on a rock, I proceeded to float and was getting shot at the same time with no enemies around.

I've had the game freeze on me twice. Can't remember exactly what I was doing at the time though. I had both discs installed on my 120GB too.

The game never froze on me. I install every game I get. Try clearing your cache.

I've installed both discs (120gb HDD) and I haven't had the game freeze so far. About 25 hrs in.

Only problem I had was that after doing that Vangard charge move once, I ended up suspended about 20 feet in the air and I couldn't get down. Had to load my previous save. Odd.

Thanks for the input, guys. I've seen used 120 GB HD's advertised at GameStop (I know some of you aren't fans of the place, but it's pretty much the best place available around here) for like $99. I might just go that route and stick ME2 on it. Or, maybe I just need to stop scanning planets so much since, more often than not, that's when it freezes up.

I think I'm going Vanguard for my 2nd play through as Renegade.. maybe Adept. Decisions, decisions.

Either way, renegade dialogue all the way through and I shall get Miranda this time over Jack.

I love curving pull around corners and getting guys out in the open.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I'd say I'm about at 70 hours of game time and only had one freeze during a loading session.

How do you curve around a corner? Do you have to do any special aiming or do you just point at a target behind cover?

All right...is it just me or is this game unbelievably dark? If you don't mind, here are a few reasons why I think this way:

                          1. Governments/Organizations are mostly corrupt (like in real life!). Like the first game, Shepherd's crew seems like the most unified group in a universe of division and infighting (obvious). Cerberus is corrupt for obvious reasons (even if you didn't play the first game you can see this). The Citadel of ME2 seems like a battleground between humans and non-humans, and most races are only out for self-interest despite numerous instances of interspecies relationships throughout the story.

                          2. Several alien races are linked to genocide or abandonment in some way. The Quarians, Krogan, Protheans and Salarians for instance.

                          3. Loyalty Missions hit home. Everyone seems to have a family rift to settle, which brings you closer to the characters and makes you realize they're not simply talking heads. This is what separates this game from a lot of other games on the market IMO, you actually develop a caring feeling for these characters through these missions.

                          4. Poor Tali.
                          Spoiler
This made me sympathize with her story the most...she's isolated on top of being isolated, if that makes any sense. Her story is a very sad one.

                          5. There's No Crying in Video Games! The first time I saw a character cry in Mass Effect 2, I was blown away. Truly amazing how far along games have come since the early days of Atari, Amiga and Intellivision.
                          Spoiler

Excellent game...I may be a bit overenthusiastic when I say it, but it's probably one of the best I've ever played since I first picked up a video game controller at the age of 3. I haven't finished it yet, though (I'm choosing to upgrade tech and explore some planets before going into the Omega 3 Relay) so I hope the ending goes the way I've planned.

Aim either to the side of the corner, or if they are ducking behind something, aim above them.

I love the ability to curve powers. my Sentinel can do it with Throw and Warp. Warp is great in ME2.

You can do this with pretty much any ability that shoots out, I'm playing as an Engineer on a 2nd playthrough and you can angle 'Incinerate' as well.
