I'm doing Sentinel on Insanity right now and have to keep checking the difficulty didn't switch to something easier. Even more so now with the maxed out abilities.

I romanced Liara as well in the 1st game but didn't keep to it in this game. Although I understand her point of going after the Shadow Broker, she isn't the same sweet/innocent Liara.

And after being out for two years and being on a ship with a genetically perfected woman, a sex junkie, a virgin, and a Asari MILF, what Shep could resist all the temptations around. lol

my thing is, people are discussing staying loyal to Liara or Ashley from their ME1 playthroughs. Are people thinking this will come back to them in ME3? Like, in ME1 I got with Liara but after seeing she was all business and no Shepard in ME2 I got some Quarian tail. Is Liara gonna bust my *** on the Maury Povich Show in ME3?

I had to do that a few times myself when I did my Sentinel Insanity run. I truly only had 1-2 parts that I died more than once. most of my deaths were because of the sprint/cover/vault button being the same button. I would vault over a wall when I only wanted to cover, or I would cover when I'm sprinting, etc... I want to say the collector's ship was the hardest part for me in my run.

BioWare stated that it'll carry over to ME3, and if you stayed faithful to your ME1 love interest, something "special" is supposed to happen in ME3. probably wont be anything big though.

well now I have to decide between Liara or Tali. And if it's Liara I'll have to playthrough ME2 again, this time without romancing anybody (I say that like playing ME2 is a punishment lol).

lol. yeah, I had several ME1 playthroughs to pick from. my Sentinel run was with a character that romance nobody from ME1. so I used that one to get with Miranda in ME2. I imagine by the time ME3 comes out, I'll have at least 4-5 ME2 characters to choose from with different outcomes/romances.

Are you talking about the ambush? I hated that part on Hardcore. So many senseless deaths...

yeah, that part. mostly because my squadmates would die no matter where I sent them or what I did, so I had to kill all the enemies all by myself as my squad would continuously die when I revived them. damn Scions kills them in 1 shot.

I figured that was the case, but after Liara went all black ops, information broker, ice princess on me, I did like a lot of other peeps did, "Hey Tali, let me holla at ya"

My guess for the romance angle and general character(s) question:

I think that members of your old squad (Kaidan or Ashley, Liara, Wrex) will rejoin with Shepard in the third game, along with the surviving mates from ME2. So yeah, a couple romantic tension arguments or reunions will feature in.

I can't imagine a whole host of new characters next time around, especially with the immediacy of the threat.

My god I despise Scions. I'd get mopped up Scions in the beginning of Horizon just trying to get into cover. Wanted to shake the ever loving mess out of my squad mates.

Also, whoever thought of giving armor to husks is a joke.

Playthrough 2 is finally finished and I'm sitting at somewhere around 60 total hours played between both runs @_@.

The cover is directly to the left at the start for the first ones or you can use the glitches and skip everything but the last fight. For that you can open the door and take out the 2 scions without even having them attack,just don't walk in. (Sniper for Solider/Infiltrator,Warp for Sentiel/Adept and probably Incinerate for Engineer. Vangaurd is kinda up the river but you can hit them with a squadmates Warp.)

I had the same problem on that Collector's ship. I found a glitch that I couldn't vault over a particular cover spot if Harbinger was standing next to me and I was cloaked. As soon as I uncloaked I could vault over. I felt like a game tester at that point because I died soooo many times.
