I believe you have time for 1 mission after the IFF. I usually use that 1 mission to do Legion's loyalty mission.

Yep, they give you time for one mission because you're suppose to leave the ship while diagnostics are performed.

Mass Effect 2 'Arrival' DLC detailed by latest patch

The PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 has been patched, and in the process, has revealed details on an upcoming DLC pack called "Arrival." Featuring three new Trophies, the BioWare forums have been abuzz with theories on what the expansion will entail.

One of the Trophies, "Covert Action," refers to a Dr. Amanda Kenson, who was previously mentioned in a recent Cerberus Network update:

Historians and astronomers alike are abuzz tonight over a new paper published by Dr. Amanda Kenson of the University of Arcturus ... "Only a small fraction of the mass effect relays date back 50,000 years," she writes, "The majority are far older, indicating they were created by a species predating even the Protheans." ... What civilization could have spanned the galaxy for not thousands, but millions of years? If this were the case, we should have found mountains of evidence of their passing. Where is this species now?"

Some believe that "Arrival" can refer to the arrival of the Reapers, setting up events for the upcoming Mass Effect 3.

Yeah...the books are actually pretty good. I haven't read the 3rd one yet though. I was not that impressed with the comic.

Comic could have been a lot better but it was decent. Gives us some information. The first book was probably my best read.

Looking forward to the comic on the Illusive Man though.

What a perfect segue into the sequel. And here I was thinking it was going to deal with Kaidan/Ashley/Wrex as the other major DLC involved Liara.

Sort of glad its not based on Ashley or Kaiden. After playing Mass Effect 2 I have no real interest in seeing them again since they both sucked, especially Kaiden.

Ha, yeah. There is a big petition on the official forums for an Ashley DLC. I could care less since I never liked her character.

This has been a rare game where it's MORE fun on on subsequent playthroughs. Because I always miss something, and even on the my 3rd campaign, I'm seeing something new.

Wow. I'm only about six hours into this game, but I'm loving it so much and I can see what all you xbox fanboys () have been raving about. Such an imaginative smooth experience. Everything I didn't like about DragonAge: Origins is better in ME2.
