are you only able to switch armor at the pre-set stations or can you do it anywhere through the menus? In Dragon Age and ME I liked the ability to set my armor whenever I felt like it, and if you can't do that in this game, I'll be disappointed. Will it stop me from playing it? Of course not.

From that Link:Kotaku has an article about the various ways people are pissed, the DLC/EA account mess ups and not being able to take the helmets off: http://kotaku.com/5457584/mass-effec...-helmet-issues
Wow. I mean I'd like to have the feature, but wouldn't exactly wish someone become unemployed over it.The situation is getting particularly heated in this forum thread, sent to us by Kotakuite Dorikin, in which players call for the termination of whoever made the decision to not include a helmet toggle feature.
I love the internets

Re: Mass Effect 2
A lot better in terms of combat and performance. I was playing the first game the past couple days to finish up my renegade playthrough, and I don't remember it being so unpolished, but it had been over a year since I last played.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
I agree.
I also love the improvements to combat. It seems that aiming/cover is a lot easier to navigate this time.
The Sniper Improvment is huge. It no longer feels like an unresponsive scope, and has really made sniping quite simple.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
As of right now, I can't change it other than on the ship. I just got to Omega, (first world I chose) and purchased an upgrade for my armor. I had to go all the way to the ship to put it on. A little tedious.are you only able to switch armor at the pre-set stations or can you do it anywhere through the menus? Re: Mass Effect 2
Why? You know you have to pay $15 for the Network if you buy it used right?
There's some old acquaintences in Afterlife if you transfered over and did shoot them in the head...
SpoilerFist & Helena. They don't seem to actually do anything though. No quests or bonuses just cool that they're there.Comment

Doesn't look like it.are you only able to switch armor at the pre-set stations or can you do it anywhere through the menus? But I do love the customization options for the armor.

Re: Mass Effect 2
That's not true. I transferred all of my stuff to a new hard drive and just imported one of my characters.Apparently to import ME1 saved data, the save has to actually be on the same device you used when you beat the game. I got a new 360 since ME1 and made sure to move off the old ME1 data to a memory card just for this purpose. ME2 will not recognize those saved games on the new 360 or from the memory card. Luckily I have the old hard drive so I'm going to see if I can plug the old hard drive into the new console and see what happens.
Pissed because I have a level 58 character to import.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
I've been playing for quite a while but all on one space station...so it's tough to say, but the station is way more crammed with stuff which is one thing i thought needed improvement. I'll be checking out the council soon on the citadel (i guess) ...so after being to a few more places i'll have a better idea. The shooting is much much better though, as are the graphics.
It's more cinematic too, right off the bat...it's really quite impressive. I'm loving it, but want to play way way more before I give even a half-assed review or too many impressions. I want to let it sink in and just fully enjoy it (which I am) without making too many judgements or comparisons.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
I'm an idiot. I think I didn't transfer over the right save files to my new hard drive. I must have transferred my New game + file or something from ME1 with my character or something, because it doesn't give me an option to import a character. I don't know why I didn't just transfer over everything. I am massively pissed at myself right now

I thought with the whole "dark second act" thing that everything would be serious and depressing but there has been more funny stuff in the little I've gone through than I remember there being in the whole first game.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Re: Mass Effect 2
I don't suppose you did anything different when doing this? I copied my data over to a memory card and moved it over from my old 20 GB to my Elite some time ago. It won't read my saves, won't even read them off of my memory card which still has my data. Guess it's time to start over.
