Did anyone else find Jacob a little uninspiring? His quest was interesting, but I kind of forgot he existed. He just did his job and only showed up in the post mission briefing with Miranda.

I used Jacob quite a bit actually. I never really used Zaeed though.

It kind of seems that is his personality profile. The hard working behind the scenes guy and he lacked any kind of over the top trait like your other crew members.

Jack = super biotic project, very violent, sociopath
Miranda = Genetic manipulation
Grunt = Test tube baby
Thane = Dying assassin and alien
Garrus = Renegade out to get job done without red tape and alien
Samara = justicar, hunting down own daughter, and alien
Tali = former crew mate, possible relation choice, and alien
Zaeed = Over the top murderous bounty hunter guy
Mordin = Crazy fast talking, sings, guilt trip search for religion, and alien

Outside of his dad, Jacob is just a soldier. BTW, I dislike his character model as they made him really top heavy.

Yea I feel that way about him and Kelinko or whatever his name was in ME1...I think that is just their personality, I think they wanted a personality like they do...I am sure there is someone out there who does like them...

Also...what power should I train for my vanguard? I was thinking Grunt's...but I am not sure...open to any suggestions...

And now seeing Cyros' post, it makes me also think he is sort of the guy who makes everyone else seem so alive and "over the top", sort of like I am sure you have heard of every hot girl having an ugly friend...or however it goes

And what the heck???!?!? I didn't get the Justicar's loyalty even though I finished the quest..

edit 2: Didn't go to the justicar after, just realized to do that.

I'd say pick one you'd have fun with, or something that allows you to diversify what you can do like Tali's energy drain for dealing with shields.

Yea I was thinking something to diversify Shepard, especially after the good results with getting the AR...I am thinking Reave now actually...the one thing that it seems like no squad member in the game other than the Justicar have a power that can rid of both barriers/armors.

Reave also heals you when used on organics.

That's what I took. Though I meant to switch to dominate but forgot and finished the rest of the quests.

42hrs in, scanned all planets have about seven side missions left, then off to jump into the Omega4 relay. This game is so friggin addicting.

Just finished the main campaign on normal. Doing all the loyalty missions I clocked in at 23 hrs 30 min.

Now going to go around exploring some more.

I had nothing against Jacob. Good guy. Liked him better than Alenko anyway which was a complete rock personality wise. Even Legion has a bigger personality than Alenko. lol

Beat the game after putting 40 hours into it. Now back to my other ME1 character to import into ME2.

So I say I won't do it unless it's safe, and she says she'll find a way. It's been like that after 3 missions now. What does it take for her to find a way to do "it"?

Also my sheppard already had fun with crazy jack, so I guess he's just a space pimp

And no Candyman I don't "love" Grunt, but he is my favorite character. I really liked Wrex in the first one also. Guess Krogans just amuse me.

I can't believe you got to be Joker...it's sad though...Dr.Chakwas(sp) gone...didn't really care much about the rest of the crew of course though...didn't get to know them. The only thing I thought was dumb about this game so far though was the fact Joker still has brittle bones..I would think Cerberus would do something...and EDI was hilarious...and the more and more this game goes on, I don't trust Jacob, he never is willing to talk to you..always putting the blame on someone else, signs of a liar, and in every movie/book/game created..usually the unforeseen villian..but don't spoil it for me, if he/if there is a back stabber.

I continued with my Infiltrator Shepard, Are my only options for guns the heavy, Sub, pistol and Sniper? Or is there something I can do so I can roll with AR if I wanted too.
