No they've mixed both scenes in. If anyone is worried about something that irrelevant in the game then they need to just stop coming in this thread.

It wasn't necessarily irrelevant to me, I hadn't seen a lot of the videos and in the game everybody was talking about how:

nobody came back from the Omega 4 relay and nobody knew what was on the other side.

I'm not saying it's a major spoiler, but experiencing it on my own would've been a bit cooler. And I do agree with you a bit that people worried about the game getting spoiled shouldn't come to this thread, so I suppose I had something like that coming sooner or later. The reason I continued to come to the thread was I know there were some people around the same level as me and progressing at a similar rate so I was interested to see that, but also to potentially help lower level guys if they needed it and occasionally ask questions myself.

Anyway, I'm not upset about. Let's get beyond it. I was curious about (spoiler for people who have completed loyalty missions):

You get to train in a new power, is it only just one? Like, Tali's loyalty mission was the first one I did and I immediately took her energy drain not thinking about it. I do like the energy drain, but is it too late to switch? Also, is it possible to take Tali's combat drone?

yeah, you can only get 1 bonus talent. I believe you can re-research the advanced training and pick another bonus talent to replace it with though.

This game is so addicting. I'm trying to do all of the side missions and stuff before really moving on with the story. My only gripe about the game is that the upgrade system for weapons and everything else could have been better. And you don't get XP for hacking, kills, etc. Not a big deal though. This game will continue to own my soul until Red Dead Redemption comes out.

Is it worth scanning all the planets? I've got everything done (gotta do the IFF next, no other quests/loyalty things)...how many side missions are there? Not really sure I feel in the mood to fully scan every planet either lol...i've got most upgrades by now and don't think I need more minerals (unless the Omega area has craploads of upgrades I don't know about).

Everyone on the mission survived except for Legion. Bastard took one through the chest area just as the first doors were closing. It was odd at first dealing with the Geth on the ship but the Geth conversation dialogue was pretty good. Interesting that they wouldn't answer the N7 armor question.

Romance plot at the end was a little disappointing. Thought Miranda would have something to say post game instead she says the same thing that she'll come up when things are quiet.

The 2nd movie, game, whatever, is always rough as far as closure in a series and this one is as well. I'm left wanting more. I think my biggest issue was the fact that you get side tracked from the story doing all these loyalty quests. Also the ME1 ending I thought was better. Still a great experience and my favorite game ever probably.

Also Grunt had the best closure line after the final mission about how saying us two are the most dangerous people in the galaxy or whatever. If I could pick one character for the third game to have on the team, it would be him without doubt.

Also my choice was to destroy the entire base instead of EMP it. I figured, I didn't play this game 35+ hours to just save it for Cerebus. It will be interesting to see how that plays out in the third game. I assume after this decision Cerebus ties will be cut off or not as big.

I donno, he is so into Shepard...and I think that would have been an absolutely terrible idea to leave it in a way...the Harbinger probably would have lived if you didn't EMP it. At least that's what I think...and I don't trust the Illusive Man, once he gets what he wants from me, he could easily just throw me aside and use it for anti alien works...and what other tech is there really on the ship? I think it wouldn't have much if any..only info on the Collectors/Protheans at that point really. My two favorite characters I think were Garrus and Grunt. I hope that they do some sort of mix and some new ones for ME3...they could get rid of Zaeed, Kalinko(from what happened, they could easily keep him out...along with Williams depending on your decisions of course. I think ME3 will have some new characters, Miranda, Legion, Grunt/Wrex, Liara, Garrus, Tali and maybe Jack and Thane..I could see more meeting up with them in a side mission, same with Samara.

I never used Grunt and I didn't care about him as much as Wrex. I used him on a side mission and he kept getting himself killed so I just stopped using him after that.

Well it looks like new game+ doesn't let you change classes..and I really don't want to go all the way through again as a Vanguard...is it possible to get to level 30 through side missions from level 26 on insanity? So annoying

Does new game+ affect your import to ME3 I wonder? I'd want all my decisions from my first playthrough to be imported, not anything I did later....

Doubt it'll affect me though, I think I'll just make a new (male) Shepard and go completely Renegade for a 2nd playthrough.

Really? Well try and use him on your next playthrough. Make sure you max out his concussion shot. It's a beast.

Yea, I only talked to him, didn't use him. I found Zaeed to be better, at least for my Vanguard and that are combat based...now I think I am actually gonna go adept because I can't leave behind shock wave ...I think that would be best, I think the adept can become a more biotic based Vanguard...if only you could learn charge..I would be the infiltrator if it had more appealing powers, but incinerate and ai hack? Bleh. AI hack isn't all that great when you aren't facing Geth all game like ME1.

I'm an infiltrator and you forgot going invisible. It's an amazing ability one that's got me out of mad jams. you're weapons also do more damage when you're cloaked too. I;m actually stacked. I have cryo, incinerate, ai hack, slam, disruptor, cloak.

edit; does anyone think jacob's "get over here!" pull line is a nod to mortal kombat?

Well now I donno what to do again, I fickle a lot in this game...so many decisions. Right now I am going through with my adept...but the cloak is just so good, I am sure it would have saved me numerous times through my vanguard career, and by being an adept I am just being a better vanguard if anything. I guess incinerate can be as good as shock wave...donno..

I would recommend if you like sniping. My next playthrough will be vanguard or soldier. Since I command my squad to use powers I feel like their powers are my powers. IN that sense being a soldier wouldn't feel that one dimensional to me.
