like in that early scene where Miranda is testing your memory...if it's a new character you can establish some detail

but a new game defaults to you letting the council die.

on a default, non-imported ME1 Shepard, I believe most of the choices are the neutral picks in ME1. so:

Counsel dies(concentrate on Sovereign), replacement counsel put into power, humans added as 4th counsel race(I think), renegade would be counsel dies, humans sit alone in power I believe.

wrex dies

Ashley/Kaiden - the opposite gender of your character lives by default, no romance I think.

that is all I can think of right now. I did not do non-imported character.

I think most would say it goes Infiltrator then Sentinel for damage. Evidently that tech armor is potent.

Infiltrator is up there. it would be a close race between Infiltrator and Sentinel, IMO. I still think the more fun class is Vanguard, but I know it's not that good, especially on Hardcore/insanity.

What guns does the Sentinel use? Sounds like a pretty decent character to use for a 2nd runthrough. Prefer more powers and fun compared to swapping out bullets all the time lol I know the bullets work well, just not as cool.

well Soldier can use every gun but SMG by default. also they are the only one that can use light machine guns.

the other classes are Heavy Pistol, SMG, Heavy Weapons. Vanguard has Shotgun, Infiltrator has Sniper.

That's what I would guess. I went through as a Vanguard for my first playthrough, just on normal. Charge is fun to use, but I imagine it would be a terrible thing to use at higher levels. The charge itself doesn't do much damage, I don't think, and it leaves you out in the open to get shot at very easily.

But it is fun as hell to have area charge and just throw yourself into a group of 3 or 4 enemies and see them all flying!

well if you charge into a big group of enemies, you'll be dead for sure. lol best to use charge when there are only a few left. or to use it on an enemy that is separated from the rest. on higher levels its more of a finisher than an any time use power. you can also use it to gain a flanking position.

the level 4 charge powers are pretty useful though. Heavy charge gives you a "bullet time" effect for a few seconds, while the other choice is an area of effect charge, which is really great versus groups of droid mechs(not the big ones) and husk. charge is useful when your shields are down too as using charge gives you a shield boost.

Speaking of Mechs...I came across one of the side missions that involves 3 YMIR Mechs on Hardcore. I just said **** it and went to reload. It so wasn't going to be worth the effort.

For me Mordin never died, but I didnt have him do to many things. I had Garrus do team leader both times, samara do barrior because miranda is a pansy, Tali do heat pipe and Zaeed to go back with crew. 100% sucess for the 4 times I did it. Actual party upgrades dont play a part and Loyalty has to be at 100% for crew.

That's not wrong and those aren't facts. That's what happend for you.

Fact is a lot of people have had Mordin die with 100% loyalty and his upgrade even if it doesn't matter. Go ahead and check other forums,there's plenty of discussion about it elsewhere. If you re-load a save and do the exact same thing then the same thing is going to happen,unless you played through the game 4 times already. Something causes Mordin to randomly die at the door. Outside of the guesses he's just no good at holding the line because he perfers to get the job done and go home and that's what going back with the crew would be doing.

I played as a Sentinel, really wasn't all that fun considering you have limited amount of weapons you can use, but you ALWAYS find a crap load of guns that you can't use amd ammo for those guns.

Mordin - Quite a few people are having trouble with Mordin dieing for no apparent reason, even with max loyalty and all. Try using him as an escort or even part of your last crew to fix this problem.

The renegade stuff is hilarious. I was watching the video he did for the first Mass Effect and couldn't stop laughing. His outfit on the Normandy makes this video even better.
