Yes Dook. You wouldn't have had to do this if you weren't on your little Modern Warfare kick back in 2007.

Yeah, I didn't feel like replaying ME, but definitely should play it first if you can before ME2, great game on its own.

Just picked this one up, Bioware won me over with Dragon Age so getting this was a must. None of the local stores have the first game in stock. Blockbuster has it, but for $10 more I can buy it through Games on Demand on Live. Stupid question, but there aren't any issues with transferring over my character/game through the downloaded version are there? As soon as I can get some sort of confirmation on that, I'll start downloading it.

just beat the game, simply awesome. I loved the addition of the loyalty missions, and what was great about those was how they were all different.

So in the end, I chose to blow up the thing instead of keeping it. Illusive Man not happy, but I don't care. He seems sketchy to me, held out a lot of key information so guess what, I'm going to do it my way.

I romanced Tali and nobody else. She seemed like the most genuine, plus she was the only teammate in both games which kind of leads me to believe she'll be in the third one.

On the final mission, I took Zaeed and Mordin as my teammates. Worked out pretty well, they annihilated all the henchmen and I was free to take out the boss.

At the end, I chose Samara as my biotic which worked out great. I chose Grunt to escort the crew back to the Normandy, and that worked out great. I chose Thane to lead the other team, and he ****ing died. What? Isn't he supposed to be Mr. Bad*** assassin? What happened? Leading up to that, when you first enter the ship, I chose Legion as my tech and Garrus as the other team leader and had no problems there.

In the end I rolled with a bunch of different party combinations. My most common wered Zaeed and Miranda, Zaeed and Mordin, Zaeed and Tali as well as Garrus and Mordin. As you can see, I constantly had Zaeed in my party. Dude kicked *** from beginning to end and rarely died. His incendiary grenades are pretty ****ing sweet too. Loved Tali's combat drone though there weren't enough geth encounters to take advantage of her AI hacking. I grew an appreciation for Mordin late in the game, he is really underrated with cyro blast and neural shock.

And going off of that, you can see I rarely used Samara, Jack, Jacob, Grunt or Thane. Thane seems like a bad*** but whenever I used him in my party he was the first to die and didn't kill as much as I thought he would. Grunt, well, I never gave him a chance which is weird considering I constantly rolled with Wrex in ME1. The rest, well they didn't really fit in with my character, a vanguard, so I used them sparingly.

You shouldn't have any problems with the downloaded game. It creates some extra files after you beat the game that are used to import along with your save file.

I didn't mean change the voice. Just add a black voice actor for characters made with much darker skin.

I have tried tinkering and using other squad combos, but by far the most powerful one I've used is Mordin and Miranda.

I love this combo too. Jack seems to have the best random one liners though. So I drag her along for kicks.

Second play though I'm sticking with Miranda and Jack. Miranda for overloand and warp and Jack for taking care of any flankers.

yeah, they have been working well on insanity. if I was on hardcore or veteran, I would randomize the squad more. but their powers are just too useful to me on insanity.

I had a krogan charging me at one point, A warp from Miranda and an Incinerate from Mordin took out his armor, I then use throw on him and he went flying backwards. my throw has a 3 second recharge time, so that krogan was never able to stand back up. lol

I'm probably gonna start my second playthrough this weekend on insanity. Not sure if I should import my Paragon Shep from ME1, or continue with my renegade Shep from ME1&2.

Stupid question, if I'm re-playing the game (completed the story already), does my new guy with the XP bonus have to be the same class? Not sure if I should start a new one from complete scratch or not for the Renegade run.

I believe so. Not 100% sure. Can't remember. I don't remember seeing if you could change your class or not.

I'm trying to decide if I want to do a second replay with my imported character that just beat the game with or a fresh one to see what they story is like.

All characters get that bonus. So if you make a new character or import a different one they'll still have it.
