Re: Red Dead Redemption
It's not that I'm jumping off a bridge over another delay, it's that it's now coming out in a period of 3/4 other games already that I am interested in (two for sure purchases in UFC and Alan Wake). So where in the end of April it had a good 3 weeks of nothing else to hold my attention and give it solid play time, to where now I know it'll sit unplayed on my shelf while other games are played.
And really, how much work can really be done in 3 weeks to polish the game further? That worries me that they even need 3 weeks period.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
That's the concern I'd have. Given the quality and quantity of releases in the first half of 2010 I wouldn't mind if they had pushed it back even further, like the fall. Gives me a chance to catch my breath with all of the quality game releases. Not sure how much three weeks is going to do for such an ambitious game. Still excited for it though and a likely first day purchase, just based off what I've seen so farHBO's "The Wire" should rank as one of the top 10 shows EVER on tv - period

New Red Dead Redemption Characters Revealed:
Rockstar Games has released another set of mini-bios and screenshots for some of the colorful characters that inhabit the epic and deadly world of Red Dead Redemption (You can find the previous character bios right here). This is my most anticipated title of the first half of this year, and Rockstar continues to stoke my excitement by rolling out these character bios. I can’t wait to meet these folks face to face…hopefully, not all of them want me dead.LG 77CX OLED / Sonos Arc Soundbar / Xbox Series X / Apple TV 4KComment

Website Update: Explore the Frontier of New Austin
While you'll have to wait one more day for that new "Life in the West" Gameplay Series Video ('tis coming tomorrow) - we've got something pretty juicy to tide you over in the meantime.
The first reveal of the game map of the world of Red Dead Redemption. Part one of three.
New Austin is one of three discrete territories that make up the landscape of the game - home to scattered townships and forts, but far from tamed. Savage outlaws and wild animals still roam the open spaces, and wary travelers share the newly cut roads with as many bandits as farmers. Trains and coaches move quickly between the larger towns, but a sidearm is a necessity when traveling by horseback.
The Features section of the official Red Dead Redemption site has been updated with a map view of the New Austin frontier area, that includes a host of new screenshots.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment
