If your horse dies in SP you get another one, with a short time penalty. Within five minutes or less I was able to whistle for my replacement.

I've been following this thread the last couple of days, and stopped at the Target near my house to get a copy...sold out. I'll be getting one soon though....I could easily see suffering the same fate above lol.

And that's hilarious about stealing those guys horse buggy. I would have hung around just to see them get torn up. Hahaha!
you can call your horse in SP if it dies, you just have to wait a bit, there's even a little pop-up notification to tell you the first couple times it happens and you try to call him after he's died.

fyi for any of you folks trying to take the "high road" in this game, you don't have to kill people in duels. if you shoot the gun out of their hand you get both fame AND honor for winning.

Me too. But most of the time my guy just says the same generic thing like Hey hows it going or something like that. Not a big deal, but would of been cool to be able to talk to random people.

I had the weirdest thing happen last night. I got on the taxi stagecoach in Thieve's Landing, and when it showed the taxi taking off it got hung up on something because it was too tall to go through it. Because of that, the game just kept trying to go through it and the horses sank like 3/4 of the way into the ground and the stagecoach just kind of sat there spazzing.

It doesn't freeze the game, because you can just hit A/X to skip to your destination, but it's weird.

We ride up there, blast on everyone, but the guy dies. I thought that'd be the end of it, but then the friend starts grieving over his buddy. I can't just leave him there so I go..."Don't worry. You won't have to grieve over him." So I shoot him in the chest and ride off. Didn't lose any Honor for some reason. lol

Still haven't had a duel yet. Anxiously waiting for that.

Wow, I didn't know that! Pretty sweet.

I need to play more online, I messed around with it last night but felt myself wanting to start SP. I wasn't a huge fan of GTA online and the first hour or so of Red Dead online didn't do much for me either, so we'll see.

I really like the fact that you can set up a campsite anywhere at anytime and save. I accepted a bounty challenge and looked on the map and saw that the criminal was far pretty far away. I was able to set up my campsite near the criminal so if I failed I could just load the previous save.

I had to fight off a wave of the bountie's friends. It took me about 20 minutes because they kept coming wave after wave. All the while, the bounty was hogtied and still alive at the bottom of the hill. Once I finished off his friends and looted there dead bodies, I picked up the live bounty and proceeded to collect my 160$.

lol you should have waited around to see what was going to happen. I saw a guy getting attacked by wolves. I tried to help him, but failed. I then killed the wolves and skinned them.

*Edit* Just went to Walmart, and one day after release, they're sold out....(PS3 version).

                                Wow. Just wow!
