Can you see the stats of horse you have?

This game is insane. I don't buy too many non-sports games, I only own Bioshock, Call of Duty MW2/MW/WWII, Mass Effect, and Fallout 3. I traded GTA in after a few weeks, but this game I knew I'd like because of the western theme. Gun hinted at this. That was an underrated game for the PS2, with a similar concept. Only Fallout 3 had been as addictive.

Not as similar as one would think. Really it's the HUD/interface that's most similar, the missions are a ton of fun(I felt like some missions in GTA were chores and I had little fun doing them) there's a lot to do. MP is a blast when playing with friends.

It kind of has a Fallout feel to it, I'm not sure why it just reminds me of Fallout 3 for some reason. But it's also very unique and unlike anything I've ever played. I HIGHLY recommend picking this up.

The thing I love most about this game, and has me close to praising it as one of my favorite games of all time, is that everytime I turn on the game...I see something new, something different. I felt like after a few days with GTAIV, nothing surprised me, nothing felt different - everything felt much more canned and scripted.

And yet, here I turn on Red Dead Dedemption and go to retry a mission I had failed last night...and I'm riding along my horse with two guys towards another town, and what do I see? Three men riding around hunting Buffalo. They start shooting at a heard and one of the Buffalos goes psycho and runs from the group...all the way around us...and then sprints at what looks like 100MPH and ram into the first hunter, killing his horse and throwing the guy a good ten feet away.

                  ****ing incredible.

can somebody tell me where the hell Rio del Lobo is? I found it once when I was just roaming around, but got killed by a cougar and have no idea where it is now.

It's similar as the controls are vastly the same but completely different too.

Hard to explain but it feels like a completely different game and a GTA game all at the same time.

Directly south of Armadillo. It sits on the river separating New Austin and Mexico.

Going to bed, I couldn't stop thinking about the places I was going to try for hunting. I haven't even touched MP for this game, SP has been good enough with things to do other than the mission. In the previous GTAs, I didnt care about side missions but I've done a ton of bounties and the challenges
