WOW .....I haven't heard anything like this.
I hope all is not lost though. I guess the first thing I would check,is see on your 360's hard drive,if it shows and actual saved game file.

If so,then hope may not have been lost....and you just might have lost your most recent save somehow. If it does show a saved game file,I would then reboot the game,let it load up,and then select "single player"...and HOPE it somehow corrected itself.

If not...then I apologize as I wouldn't have a CLUE as to what may have happened,this is the first I've heard about this.

No luck. Looks like I will have to replay what I had already played. Not that that's a bad thing.

So I was doing the stranger mission where you have to bring a crying man in that place at the top of the map north of Gaptooth Ridge his "love" back to him from Tumbleweed. I'm just about to complete the mission...

...when I hear a growling noise. I turn around and see a cougar kill Lucy the horse. The woman that was riding her was running around like crazy. I was like, "Are you kidding me? I'm just about to finish this mission and the damn horse gets mauled by a farking cougar?"

I love this game. So much random crap happens. This ticked me off at first but it was actually pretty damn funny.

I had just saved a girl from bandits along the road, so when she was thanking me and the camera had panned over to us a Couger kills her out of no where. It was so random but it was really funny.

I was doing one mission where you had to ride with a posse somewhere and as soon as I dismounted at our destination I was mauled by a bear.

Played more last night.

So I am running around doing some side quests and a guy comes up to me to help save his wife from hanging. I go with him and im to late in saving her. I killed all the bad guys but could not shoot down his wife in time. He sits there crying while I loot all the bodies. I feel so bad for him that I loot his wife and then put a bullet in his head to stop his suffering.

My honor takes a hit for that? I thought I was doing him a favor!

I apologize if this has already been asked, but earlier people were talking about the PS3 version being lower quality picture wise than the 360 version. Does anyone have an update on this. Thanks in advance.

not true. I have a PS3 and have never seen a better looking game on this system ever. If it is better on XBOX360 then it is godly on that system.

when the camera goes in the house with Marston and shows the dead lady, I could see my horse being attacked by wolves outside of the guy's house through his front door.

So, we're just left with the matter of the final recommendation. We've demonstrated conclusively that the Xbox 360 version of Red Dead Redemption possesses higher resolution, improved levels of detail, noticeably superior performance in-game and fewer jaggies owing to a more consistently applied anti-aliasing solution that doesn't blur the image. Shadows are generally sharper, and of better quality (particularly on the characters' self-shadows).

In short, Rockstar is to be commended on what is an absolutely fantastic game on both platforms, but the technical analysis is pretty conclusive: if you've got the choice of buying the game for either console, Xbox 360 is the version of Red Dead you should buy.

i guess you havent played the show 10.
rdr looks awful on my ps3 after playing the show 10.
the objects in the distance look so pixelated.

I've played The Show 10 and I would say RDR is right there with The Show, if not better. It looks amazing.

Not for me. The game looks amazing in my opinion. I knew not to take those console comparisons seriously. The game always looks great in the end.

Maybe so....but, roommate has it on PS3, and I have it for 360. 360 is much better looking.
