    Re: Red Dead Redemption

So...hilarious thing I just witnessed while screwing around in SP.

I was riding the train, being the usual badass that I am riding on top of it, yeah I'm that cool.

So I'm just riding along, shooting people on horses as the train passes by and watching them fall off and get dragged by their horses. No big deal, the usual business as I call it. Well, as the train is continuing down it's path of endless terror, it crosses a road where someone just happened to be crossing the tracks at the very same time...SPLAT, blood flies everywhere and the horse was obliterated by the train. I jump off to find the guy riding the now deceased horse and he fell about 20 feet away. He just got up a few seconds later and continued on with his day as if nothing had happened at all.

That's when I shot him in the face.

I had the same thing happen. Except I was standing right next to the train watching the horse get blown into chunks. It was downright hilarious. I must have been laughing for about 5 minutes, because the horse literally blew up.

There's a good chance that's the best closing line to a story I've ever heard.

Its not silly seeing that, that really made the game off track from the original and it just wasnt as good. They should've stayed focused. Now COD has a zombie mode.

Do all the nay sayers not realize what month it is? I could see complaining if this were being released any time other than Halloween, but really people?...Zombies...Halloween, what's not to love?
I see a trend here and I dont think it belongs in all of these games. Red Dead is a great game already... whats next, Santa Clause mode since we're stuck on months?

Lol, come on 23, we're just saying this is being billed as it's own separate story line and game. It's basically like Rockstar is selling us a completely different story/world to play around in. It doesn't tie in with the regular story at all, and is just a fun little alternative for this time of year.

Of course there won't be a "Santa Clause" mode, but Halloween/October always brings about these types of add-ons, etc... just like in theaters where we get more scary movies this time of year. I could see your frustration if this was some sort of continuation of the campaigns storyline, but it's not, it's its own animal.

              Mythical Creatures in Undead Nightmare:
The Four Horses of the Apocalypse

              Death
With Hell following close behind, Death carries with him a violent wake that rattles through the skulls of the undead, causing a spectacular cranial explosion for any zombie it comes in contact with.

              Famine
Attracting a swarm of insects wherever it travels, Famine's thin shadowy frame and crimson eyes mask an everlasting stamina.

              Pestilence
A ghastly harbinger of plague and disease that's easily identifiable by its exposed wounds and ocular hemorrhaging, Pestilence possesses an exceptionally high pain threshold.

              War
Given power to take peace from the earth, the fiery red horse known as War ignites a trail of flame upon all those in its path, turning the living and the undead alike into smoldering ash.

I can't believe all this content for $10. Now this is how you release DLC......not skimp out on people and give them meaningless crap.

Hey man, I think it could've been DLC used as something else, but the point was I didnt like it personally. It was only when someone jumped in and decided anything not agreeing with it was just another complaining post on OS....

That train of thought needs to stop.

Assuming you're taking about me here LOL, I said you were complaining about something that was OPTIONAL DLC, and I didn't understand how you thought it was "ruining the game." I never said anything about it being "just another complaining post on OS" but you can interpret it however you want. Buy it or not, don't like it or like it, I really don't care.

Anyway, all this info sounds amazing. $10 is an absolute steal for this making me more anticipated for 10/26 than ever. Take note people, this is how DLC should be sold, not $15 for a crappy multi-player map pack.
