I'm with it...just hoping that we're truly getting its successor. R* marches to their own beat so I'm hesitant to assume anything until they give us something concrete.

I can hear that, but it would be a REALLY big letdown (like, internet-meltdown territory) if it was just a remaster. I think a new installment is a given, and I'm crossing my fingers for a remaster along with it.

Getting a little sick of all the rumors and speculation. Been happening for a few years now.

I know this is Rockstar* themselves putting this hint out, just have been let down for too long.

Time for a real announcement already.

I dabbled, but admittedly did not spend enough time in GTAO. However, the thought of a Red Dead Online world...both on a new game created for this gen and 3+ years of trial and error, sounds absolutely glorious.

And RdR multiplayer was fantastic! Exciting times for sure.

Meh, I prefer a solid SP campaign myself (not to say it won't have one, but I'm referring to its post-release focus).

Speaking of which, the announcement of this game alone definitely puts to bed any consideration of a GTA V SP update. That's too bad.

We still don't have confirmation it's an actual new Red Dead game.

We don't know any dates that will be subject to change multiple times.

There's a lot we don't know. It's way too early to make claims like this when we barely know anything at all.

If you were going off my "MP versus SP," my opinion would still stay the same whether or not a new game was coming out.

If you were going off my statement about closing the book on GTA V, even an RDR re-master would have still closed the book. Once they start talking about another game, they pretty much halt the other one for good. It's better for PR anyway.
