I took one of those big battle axes the gold knight gaurds have and used it on a bard, the overhead swing from the front. That's one of the best sounds I've heard in a game.

Re: Assassin's Creed 2
Am I missing something? Im trying to get back to St. Croce to find a glyph...are we just supposed to remember where it is? Its not on the map to pinpoint...is there something im missing? Been looking for 15 minutes now....I wish they would at least put the actual glyphs on the map or something...Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed 2
Yeah they don't have the glyphs marked, you just have to look through the database at the locations and find the building it's on.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

It takes a really long time to get to everything you might have seen in the previews, at least if you do any of the stuff outside of the main story missions.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Re: Assassin's Creed 2
From reading the impressions here it seems as if you need to put in a couple hours before the game really picks up. Thankfully though I have the next two days off work.Comment

If you really want the full enjoyment it will take several hours just to get going. I'm about 4 hours in and took out my 1st guy and I still feel the game is just starting. The poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed 2
Thinking of purchasing a new game, and this happens to be one of them... how does it compare to the first Assassin's Creed? I'm leaning on what's going on with the battle system in this game compared to the first one... the first one was easy, boring, and repetitive. Also... how are the side quests? Again with the first one, it was repetitive, easy, and eventually got boring... how's this game compared to the first one??Comment
