Re: Fallout: New Vegas
quick question
SpoilerSo I apparently pissed off the powder gangers so I decided to go to where they live and kill them. I pretty much cleaned out the entire prison and killed everyone there. My Question is, did I screw myself down the road by killing all of those guys?SpoilerI'm guessing you pissed them off by helping out the guy in Goodsprings or whatever the starter town is? And then you went to the NCRCF prison but you killed them all there as well?
I killed the powder gangers in the starter town, but then when i went to the prison they were "friendly" to me and let me in. I'm guessing word of my work hadn't traveled there yet.
I'm thinking in the end you might have lost a couple of quests for yourself, but I don't think you've totally messed up the game. I know Powder Gangers don't like me but I usually shoot on sight as well. I just didn't have enough resources to take down the entire prison.

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
While playing you're gonna lose some quests based on how you play...And gain others because of that...I'd just maybe play different the 2nd playthrough (I plan on a 2nd with Wacky Wasteland, just didn't want it too wacky the first time).
I'm not super far into it, but hopefully tonight I can get far now that I'm pretty much done with all the slower beginning stuff. It's fun though, just more fallout!Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
I don't think I've had any trouble with NCR armor freezing my game. My game has only frozen once though in my eight hours of play time.
I finally got a house... or at least a place that I can call home that I officially own. Thank Goodness I don't have to get ripped off by all the dealers any more and can store my stuff.
it was a specific set.. in the tent in primm next to wayne, there was a glitch where it showed 2 sets of armor when there was only one.. if you tried to equip or repair it, it would freeze within 10 seconds.
so you have to drop the armor then it shows as only one and then pick it back up and youre good to go

Tearing **** up with a cleaver.
Got randomly attacked by a Powder Ganger, scared me to death because all I saw at first was a stick of dynamite fly right by my face.
Loving the game so far, just exploring right now, but so far so good.
How many of you guys chose the Wild Wasteland trait?SpoilerI just had a moment with that kind of alien music "ooo-eee-ooo"(I guess that indicates a "WW" moment or something) after looking in an open refrigerator randomly thrown in the middle of the wasteland. Had a skeleton in it, including a hat that I am currently wearing.Last edited by NoDakHusker; 10-20-2010, 02:58 PM.Huskers | Chelsea FC | Minnesota United | OmahaComment

I was looking all around when I heard that sound hoping to spot something weird.Comment

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
Finally got my first freeze this afternoon, just walking across the wasteland towards a quest and it just completely froze and I had to restart. Luckily I just discovered a new area and it saved less than 5 minutes before but still, I was just walking through the wasteland with no other characters or anything on screen and it froze. Glad I just rented this, I'll put a lot of time into it and try to beat it by Sunday night when I have to bring it back but until at least one patch comes out I'll wait to buy and hope I can find it new for around 40 bucks.Comment

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
After walking around it for what seemed like an eternity, I finally found my way into Fabulous New Vegas. Haven't done any gambling yet, but it looks great.
Also,SpoilerOnce I got In, I got my 2nd house, and this one is much nicer than the piece of junk I was given earlier in the game
About to try and sneak in a weapon with me to The Tops casino.Last edited by CC; 10-20-2010, 05:01 PM.Comment

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
Four hours and no freezing, barely any frame drops either! Probably spent 20 minutes killing what seemed like an endless supply of Geckos. Then made it to Primm.
I just made it to level 3 and I'm having tons of fun exploring the wasteland.
Seen a few minor glitches, like a gecko stuck in a rock. It was running(but getting nowhere) and you could see only it's head and hands, but it was stuck in the rock. Although the rock seemed to prevent me from damaging it, as I couldn't hit the gecko lol.
And then I saw one of those Goodspring Settlers and they were just a head, there was no body, just a floating, moving head. I was laughing so hard.Huskers | Chelsea FC | Minnesota United | OmahaComment

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
Haven't had any freezing or anything yet, but I had a hilarious glitch. Was told to go find Deputy Beagle while in Primm. Well, first, I went in to the Casino to peak around at crap I could steal. Well, I went in to one of the side rooms, looked up, and there's good ol' Deputy Beagle, stuck in the ceiling, with his legs dangling through the floor. But hey, I was still able to hold a full fledged conversation with himComment
