Meh, I have that on my char right now and I'm finding little to spend it on.

Anyway, I finally figured out caravan and it was as simple as me not knowing you had to move cards vertically in the stack. Duh.

        Also, H&H Tools, hilarious.

Same here. Read the rules, fooled around with it, then gave up completely.

I got the dreaded can't load saved games because can't find DLC error. I hope they can patch that because I might be screwed. I have some old saved games but it's going to be hard to go that far back.

It's not that hard once it's been explained properly. Here's my go at it.

First thing, it is important to remember when you want to play a card onto a pile, you have to move the card vertically until it is below the last card on the pile. If you want to play a face card on a specific card, then you put it over that card.

The game starts with 3 forced moves. You have to put one card down in the 3 caravans at teh start of the game before you can do anything else. After that, the next card you put in a given caravan sets the directions all cards in this caravan must be played. For example:
              Card 1: 4 of Hearts
              Card 2: 6 of Spades

Now card 3 must be greater than a six, or be a spade. What I mean by this, if you play a card of the same suit, then you can reverse that direction. So again:
              Card 1: 4 of Hearts
Card 2: 6 of Spades (Setting numerical direction (greater than 6))
Card 3: 7 of Diamonds (following the direction)
Card 4: 3 of Diamonds (Same suit, therefore you can reverse the direction)
Card 5: Must be less than a 3, or be a diamond.

Face cards are explained in decently in game, I think.

Seriously? With the amount of Guns, Ammo, Armor, and Mods available, I can blow about 20,000 caps in 5 minutes.

Also, cards can be played on competitors caravans, might just be face cards but I did discover that once I realized cards had to move vertically.

I've never found a gun for sale that I didn't find out in the world. Actually, I take that back, I bought a Gauss rifle for Boone.

Ammo, outside of .308 which, for some reason I never find and I never even found much to buy, I have more ammo than I can carry.

Armor, I did buy two sets from the BoS, reinforced combat armor mark 2 and a suit of T-51b power armor.

I also buy weapon mods when I see them for the trophy, but they are cheap.

Oh man, Jury Rigging is easily the best park in this game. All it takes is Repair 90 and I believe level 14. I'm now fixing guns like the Ranger Sequoia with 9mm pistols, Marksman Carbine with cheap service rifles or varmint rifles, etc. I believe you can even repair any armor with any armor of the same weight (medium with medium for example).

I now have everything maxed out on durability. I'm basically just picking up any and all weapons I find and stashing them in ED-E incase I need future repairs.

BTW, the Ranger Veteran Combat Armor is awesome (the armor on the cover of the game).

Very useful, especially when you use rare or unique weapons/armor. Sure you could work around it by collecting all this stuff, selling it, then finding a person to pay to repair but it saves a lot of time and effort plus Jury Rigging is more efficient.
