Re: Fallout: New Vegas
I had major problems before the patch but since the patch has come out, I haven't experienced a single freeze on the Xbox 360. If you loved Fallout 3, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.Comment

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
So then I caved and bought the 360 version, patched it and am having a great time. Its smooth and I haven't encountered any glitches yet. I think everybody's experience with these games is going to vary greatly. I played through Fallout 3 without any kind of technical issue but I've heard of friends having a hell of a time trying to enjoy it through the glitches and bugs.
I would buy it, accept that its a flawed masterpiece and make sure that you keep a lot of save files, just in case.Comment

Someone went around the real Vegas and surrounding areas taking pics to compare in-game.

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
I LOVED Fallout 3 but heard so many bad things about this one that I never purchased it. With that being said once the price drops a bit I'll probably pick it up since the patch sounds like it's made it playable.
Is this same developer going to do Fallout 4 or is Bethesda going back to it?GT: Herkyalert

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
I'd say buy New Vegas if you liked fallout 3, you really can't go wrong. I enjoyed fallout 3 more, but that was also my first true open world rpg, so it holds a special place for me anyway.
If you're concerned about bugs and glitches, all the major issues have been fixed(and have been for a while), even though it can still be very buggy at times, just like fallout 3 was.-Ohio State-

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
My biggest gripe with it is mostly just the stuttering in general. It freezes for a second. Like a hiccup. And it happens a lot other than that I enjoy it.Because I live in van down by the river...Comment

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
I just wanted to call attention to this mod: http://www.moddb.com/mods/radiant-flux
Also there's a new enb made specifically for NV/FO 3 and I assume it's pretty awesome with Oblivion as well since it's the same engine: http://enbdev.com/download_en.htm
It doesn't work with ATI so I can't share any shots or anything but there's plenty in the forum topic with some different tweaks: http://enbdev.com/enbseries/forum/vi...420a0594ec3f21Comment
