But in Vegas there will probably be alot of new scenery other than grey buildings. Also im prepared to see some *** whole Brotherhood of Steel members. Remember the Outcasts in Fallout 3 werent actually outcasts, they just did what they were suppost to do and didnt care about other people. Thier home base is in California so I think the Brotherhood of Steel members you meet in Los Vegas (If you meet any) are going to resemble more of the Outcasts personality then the regulars you met in DC.
Should have gotten it for PC, there are mods that liven up the place.

Haha... I have a gift card to Gamestop, so I may run out and get it. So it's gameplay style is the same as Oblivion though? 3rd person? I'm off to watch some videos.

It can be either 3rd or 1st person. I found it generally a good idea to stick to 1st person... but V.A.T.S. is really a great system. Some of the kills in that system are bruuuuutal.

I found Fallout to be vastly superior to Oblivion.

FO3 has a better main storyline, but I really enjoy Oblivion's side quests and guilds.

Fallout 3 and Oblivion = Two best games I have ever had the joy of playing. Bethesda is genius.

I watched some videos, and I think I'll still pass. I was more on the guilds and side quests, raiding caves, etc. The guns and craziness just doesn't seem to appeal to me.

Meh - it's a decent game. Nothing special, really. Could have done a ton of things better. I'd say he's not missing out. I couldn't even get myself to finish the game.
