    Cazador's... Ugh!

Walk into one of their nests = good times.

      Metaphoric show of hands here...

Who thought that Cazdores were a slightly more harmful version of the bloatfly? As in, not harmless at all?

Also, was walking around exploring just now, encountered a dude getting chased by 5 giant radscorpions. Boone and I fought valiantly, and if it wasn't for curiosity about the man being chased (who also died), we would still be alive.

That's pretty much exactly what I read in anticipation for the game. So I wasn't worried at all until I actually ran into one ( or three).

These things are more dangerous than deathclaws if you get a swarm of them.

In my 30 hours of play so far, a swarm of Cazadors is the worst thing I have come across in terms of enemies (humans included).

Anyone else having trouble with their PS3 after installing the patch? My brother downloaded the patch and now his PS3 turns off on it's own.

              I didn't download the patch.

As for Cazadors, I haven't had any problems, but I never ran into them until I already had Boone, ED-E, a Q-35 Matter Modulator and the Meltdown perk. Since they tend to swarm closely, they create a chain reaction.

If anyone is playing on the PC version I came across this "Five Essential Mods" posting. Installed the mods and it makes the game a real treat now.

Check it out if you're playing on the PC.

I'm just not feeling this game as much as Fallout 3. I just don't feel as immersed. Maybe because I've had to restart twice. I'll play for like a half hour and then just be like, "meh" and turn it off.

Thanks for that post man, I've been waiting for sweet mods to put on this game. Hopefully someone comes out with a dancing one like in F3.

I really like the game. But I'll agree with you. FO3 was more immersive, better story.

I'm almost the total opposite. I keep meaning to turn it off but then I play until 1:00 am. I walk around work like a zombie the next day.

I do agree that the setting is not as immersive as Washington. I haven't been to Las Vegas yet but the desert setting -- even though there are lots of places to visit-- isn't as great as Fallout 3.
