Hit the Start button then under options you can change from public to private.

I swear I think that they group you with people on your friends list when possible. The first night I was playing there were 88,000 or so people playing. As I joined the game I quickly found TJDaSportguy, Millenium, and bluengold34 in the same grouping of 4 as me.

I haven't read anything official, but I can't believe that is a coincidence.

I'm mattc81 on XBL. I used to have JohnDoe8865 on the original Xbox live, but I lost internet for a while back then and then forgot my password to re-use it on XBL 360.

I'm pretty sure that if your in the crowd it groups you with your friends. Also, on the page where you set the reminder, it has a field that lists your friends that have set a reminder for it.

I grouped with tons of friends last night and a guy who was a stalker, he wouldn't leave our group and we didn't know who he was...

But I had a ridiculous score last night and was almost in the top 10. Game is fun for me, and the questions are sometimes mind boggling. I was on a 9 question streak before missing one. And still got some kind of crown or shield added to my name. It was awesome.

Can't wait to play for real prizes.

The questions are much easier when its live on Fridays, I had a 24 answer streak last week.

Yeah I only got into the real one on Saturday night for about 20 minutes but was about 200 points away from the top-scoring guy. I'll tear this up when it's the actual questions... I didn't do as well on the E3 stuff despite following the coverage pretty closely.

I'm a trivia hound though, I can't get enough random facts. I'll be giving this a lot of use when it comes out. So they'll be doing weekly shows once it is out of beta stage? Not clear on how it's going to work onve the testing period is over...

So if you don't make the mob, you're just going to lose interest every game? Since the crowd can't win anything unless you're top 3 of the 100,000 left.

Yeah. I mean it wasn't terrible, but when it's new "one" after new "one" and the questions are still easy it makes it difficult for me to want to keep playing.

I have a short attention span. Once there's a chance for me to make the mob or the one and actually win something I might have a bit more interest in the game.

Extended play is everyday from 6:30pm to 9pm.
