It was fun. But the dialogue of the hosts is so frickin' repetitive! I had to turn it off. They need to add a few different camera shots as they too were just repetitive.

I wish there was more notification of when your eliminated. Maybe darken your avatar. Sometimes I forgot whether I was "alive" or not. I would miss a question, but I could still pick answers and gain tons of points when I answered correctly. What is the point of that? If I'm eliminated, don't let me keep gaining points/building up my stats.

It sounds like you was apart of the crowd. In which case, you are never eliminated. If you was apart of the mob, then you could be eliminated until the next round. But, it seems to be so difficult to become a part of the mob (I haven't in the 2 live shows that I've played in). If you're in the crowd, you're just competing against the other people in your group.

But, it seems to be so difficult to become a part of the mob (I haven't in the 2 live shows that I've played in). Ater the two times that I've played, I've never been in the mob. And certain things that I've noticed make me think there's something fishy about the mob selection. During every round, they would always show high scorers (especially the top three at the end of each round). I noticed many rounds where the higher scorers were the same people. Does anyone know if those high scores are from people in the mob or everyone? I think I read that the high scores were from the mob, which would mean that they used the same mob the entire evening. That would be awfully shady to use the same 100 for the mob and leave the rest of the 98,000 in the crowd.

Yes, I made it into the mob last night.

Then I did extended play last night afterwords....pretty damn fun both ways.

When the game goes live you can only make The Mob once a week and be The One once a month.

the rules on the xbox site state how they select the mob. The scores you see are from everyone playing, so it's possible people just kick ***. I answer instantly for virtually every question, but I still end up way behind the top scorers at the end of the game.

You must select “Public” as your 1 vs 100 Privacy setting. This doesn’t guarantee you’ll be in The Mob, but it makes you eligible for possible selection at the staging of any given round.

You can be in The Mob just once per episode.

How can I improve my chances of being selected as The One or The Mob?

Each round, we select the One and the Mob based on players’ past performance in both 1 vs 100 Live and 1 vs 100 Extended Play: answer quickly, correctly, and play often to increase your chances.

Did anyone else laugh at the Jen Taylor question last night? Yeah she's voiced Princess Peach, Zoey in L4D, and Cortana, but she's also the host of the show.

Is the beta really going to go until December? I still couldn't get in until the 2nd extended play session, but that's just a cap they're putting on it. It was announced with the NXE, and they've been playing this in beta for months already. Just seems odd that this game needs until December.

the faster you answer correctly the more points you get and you'll have a better chance of getting selected

I agree. I played for about twenty minutes tonight before stopping. The lack of an actual competition kind of ruined it for me. I wasn't around to play last night. Did they have live announcing again or was that just for the opening night?

So if you don't make the mob, you're just going to lose interest every game? Since the crowd can't win anything unless you're top 3 of the 100,000 left.

I can understand that if you're playing alone...if you've got other people in your party just BSing while playing then it turns into a more fun social experience with the game taking a back seat.

I don't remember exactly, but I remember doing it right after I saw the alert telling me I had to be public to be in the mob. I was all ready public, but there was some menu option that let me make sure.
