Very fun. Can't wait until Saturday.

I still can't believe that out of the 50,000+ (I think that's what the host said) that were playing, that EG and I were right next to each other.

I dont think it was to random, I had 2 friends on my buddy list, but didnt know the others

fun stuff. I always liked the online trivia game they have at a few bars. Now we can play at home and get much more affordable beverages.

The variety of questions is nice, NES, Sony, American Idol, what is a comma, even Porno. I bit on the temperature question too. Kind of cool how they set that up. Also sucks for the girl avatar getting disconnected as The One, free points for the mob.

They need to do multiple games or something. 50k for a beta is nice, but when they actually have prizes, it'll be harder to get in. Even if you do, you may never be selected to the mob to be eligible for prizes.

Yeah, that'll be cool...Every time I tried to join I got an error. Hopefully that's not an issue long term, cause people'll give up if they keep getting rejected. They always talk about the 8 million Live members, so they better have designed this to hold a ton of people.

Wish I could've stayed up to try it last night. 10:30pm on a work night is too late for me, having to be at work at 4am. I'll definitely try to get in Saturday night though.

It's a blast, and will become a great social thing for MS, no question.

Saturday, we should all get in an 8 person party and join the game, since we don't speak anyway during the game, it would be cool to all BS while it's going on.

TJ, you will love this, it's just like that EA Gameshow. The host is live, he took emails, he talked on the phone to guests (Major Nelson, Taking Back Sunday), and discussed players scores and what not. Truly, a great experience and one that MS is going to tout like crazy because it works.

If you clicked into your stats (which are quite robust I must add), you can see how many players are logged in, it was always near 50K. That is insane for a Monday night to have 50,000 playing a game show, then to have God knows how many unable to play because MS capped it.

From what I understand, they capped it to not break the server. The Canada Beta was to get the servers ready, figuring, they hit 10-15K max. Knowing US would get probably well over 100K, had to max it and see how the servers handled it. It's a Beta, so it was a little glitchy, the ads didn't play all the time, and sometimes couldn't hear the host, but I'd rather have it doing this during Beta than during the real launch.

Bravo MS, great title...and it's free.

Actually, just remembered I'm busy Saturday. We're baptizing the baby that day. My brother is flying out from California (he's the Godfather), so I'll have family all at the house.

Oh well...maybe next weekend.

When will this be launched as a regular game? ( Not Beta ) and Besides this saturday, how many more beta games will there be? Is this every Saturday?

You could be there while the baby is being baptized and have "your people" play, just like The Godfather. I'm kidding of course, but that'd be a nice scene...The beautiful church, with all the family there, you presiding over it all. Meanwhile, you have several individuals playing 1 vs 100 for you.

On the dashboard you can set a reminder for Saturday and then the next one they have up there is for December. It actually looks like New Years Eve.

I had never heard of this, but it sounds real fun. Do you have to download anything or you just pop in? Is it going to be nightly or weekly?
