Let's get some gaming in tonight man. I tried playing Halo 3 the other day and sucked - and I used to be considered the 'best' of my friends, all of us having played more than I'd like to admit - so I will need as much practice as I can get.

For sure, just take it easy on me. I'm still trying to get used to the ODST MP. I'm the definition of n00b right now.

Lucky bastard. I've restarted it once or twice and it's still take an hour and a half or so to get to 61%

well, I downloaded it but can't play. I either get the message that the Reach servers are unavailable or that it's searching for a playlist, which it never finds. Kinda sucks because I see EG downloaded it started playing already.

I'll be online tonight. Probably around 630 est. I was playing Halo 3 all last night to get back in the feel of people jumping all over the place.

Yeah, after waiting all that time to download it, it now says the server isn't available...but I can see people on my friends list in games. I feel like a crack addict who has to watch other people get high.

Yup, the backend servers are getting hammered.

We're aware and working to resolve slow matchmaking times and inaccessible playlists. As soon as we're back up and running at full capacity, we'll make some noise. Stay tuned for more information and thanks for your patience.

I was pretty dumb. I was playing and wanted to try a new playlist then couldn't get back in.

I'm awful at this game.

I thought it was just me. Maybe because I'm used to playing COD and Battlefield. I'm not sure but, whatever the case is, I had a blast and I can't wait to play more.

So I wasn't able to get in any games on my xbox, but roommate's was working fine for about an hour. I was able to play about five rounds before it said the servers weren't working. Early impressions are that it's a lot of fun, the weapons seem more balanced than ever before and I rule at Swordbase. Seriously, went 17-5 on my first game on Swordbase, a game of team slayer.

Hopefully the server issues get straightened out soon because I really don't have much to do the rest of the night.

OMG THE ANNOUCER GUYS SO ANNOYING!!!!! I remember playing split screen slayer in Halo 2.... and every second "You've gained the lead, you've lost the lead, you've lost the lead, you've tied for the lead" LOL very annoying. This happening around every 5-10 seconds with four people...... oh my god.
