Network test 1 is a test for firefight I think.Comment

Re: Halo: Reach
You might be right. It's definitely testing much more than Bungie is letting on. This map visually is a big step above the maps in the beta, but of course, it's pulled directly from the Campaign. Difference is, it's sunny here, and not raining.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Halo: Reach
Interesting. I think this will be the first Halo game I'm going to actually get into. I have Halo 3, but never played it much. I think it was the gameplay style that turned me off, but from watching these previews, it looks like a more "modernized" Halo experience, if that makes any sense.

Re: Halo: Reach
Also in the films after a network test game is played, it says "Overlook on easy", instead of "Network test 1 or generator defense on Overlook".
Speaking of which, that skybox in that level is awesome and I have a feeling that the campaign for this game is going to be epic.Comment

Re: Halo: Reach
Yeah, remember that Firefight spaces in ODST were taken directly from campaign spaces. Overlook is clearly pulled straight from campaign, probably with little to no changes.

Re: Halo: Reach
What I'm looking forward to seeing in Reach is and if they will have a forge mode. Loved forge in Halo 3, but it needed alot of work. Anyone know if it will be in Reach?Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo

Re: Halo: Reach
If I am not mistaken, Bungie confirmed that all muiltiplayer maps are levels from the campaign. They simply pulled them straight of there. So while they were designing campaign they also had there maps ready. For muiltiplayer they just have different time of day. I clearly remember it somewhere..
I am pretty sure that Overlook is a firefight map (as well as a space for campaign obviously).Comment

Re: Halo: Reach
From Bungie.net
When does the Beta officially begin?
ODST owners will be able to access the Reach beta "late morning" PDT on Monday, May 3rd. Just put your ODST campaign disc in and select the Reach Beta menu option.
"Late morning?" Can't you tell us the exact time?
Late morning (Pacific Daylight Time) is as exact as we can get right now. As soon as the switch is flipped and the beta is active, we'll be sure to spread the word.Comment
