Re: Rock Band 3
The new "Billy Joel Piano Challenge" pack includes six Billy Joel songs that represent some of the most challenging keyboard play yet seen in the game. The songs are entirely new to Rock Band 3, and distinct from the Billy Joel tracks that released late last year.
The new pack includes the following six songs, all of which will release on March 22nd for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii.
• "I Go to Extremes"
• "Miami 2017 (Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway)"
• "My Life"
• "Prelude/Angry Young Man" X
• "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant"
• "She's Always a Woman"
The whole pack will run you $9.99, or you can get each song individually for $2 apiece. As denoted by the "X", "Prelude/Angry Young Man" also has available pro guitar/pro bass support for an extra $0.99.Comment

I am going to end up downloading this, trying it many times, and failing it many times. Compared to the GH3 version, dare I say the guitar part looks manageable? lolComment

Big thanks to Nick who let us know that some people over at the official forums found some links on RockBand.com to songs that have not yet been released as DLC. And if you look at these songs, they seem to perfectly compliment the DLC rumor from last Friday. Could this again be an issue of DLC leaks coming directly from Harmonix, or since this Friday’s DLC announcement is on April Fool’s Day, that these could be part of some grand prank on the community?
The songs discovered, along with links to the placeholders pages on RockBand.com and a playlist of the two tracks, are included below:
* The Band – The Weight (Live)
* Grand Funk Railroad – The Loco-Motion
UPDATE 1: You guys are awesome! A few more of you have found links to the following songs:
* Fleetwood Mac – Dreams
* Foo Fighters – Rope
* Mastodon – Blood & Thunder
* Phish – Stash
* Stevie Nicks – Edge of Seventeen (Just Like the White Winged Dove)
* Loverboy – Working for the Weekend
UPDATE 2: As many of you pointed out, Harmonix may have gotten wise to the cat-and-mouse game being played, as they took the site down briefly yesterday afternoon, and when it came back, the links referenced above 404′d out. However, links to band specific pages are were working, such as this one to Tommy Tutone. (http://www.rockband.com/songs/artists/tommy+tutone)Comment
