TW2 supposedly is close to breaking some kind of record for their magic system from what I've seen on different sites.
Regardless bottom line for me is it's a more enjoyable than Oblivions.

It's fine you prefer Oblivions and it's fine you don't like TW2. Just play what is more enjoyable to you....

      Re: Two Worlds II Impressions

Well since I've gotten my new TV I'm not playing anything for a bit. Going to be safe and get 100+ hours into the TV before going full tilt with settings etc...

So my TW2 world will be on hold for a few days.. Will give me something to look forwrd to though.

Think I'll do some sailing when I "return"
What's happening in your game WTF without giving away anything.....

No, they are trying to manufacture a record and convince Guinness to put it in their book.

            Re: Two Worlds II Impressions

I'm starting to understand the game more now and am getting sucked in. It's not perfect, but I think some of the games flaws are way over blown. It's a solid RPG IMO.

The fighting is still very challenging, especially when dealing with multiple enemies. Had some brutal fights last night.

I can't seem to assign a button to my new potions I've created. When I assign the button say X it replaces the map in the short cuts. However I want to assign it to the X shortcut when I'm in combat, not when my weapon is sheathed. Does that make sense?

Yeah it's a pretty good game. Like I stated earlier certain franchises get a crapload of leway while other may have same problem and get blasted for it. If this was "COD Two Worlds" it would have gotten a 9 before anyone played it. Sure there are faults but when the fun factor out weighs the faults I'll take it.

I know there are different "levels" of mapping.
1 when fighting and 1 when just walking etc...
In any case I know I have my health assigned to RB
Try having your weapon out and then go to menu and see what that does. OR while weapon out click down RS and assign that way possibly.

SkyBoxer or WTF I have a question.

                SPOILER ALERT!

I am at the first town you teleport to on your way to Hatmandoor (the one with the ostrich quest). I found a den that has the rune the craftmaster talked about. There is this skeleton in a cell that I just can't seem to deal with. Everytime I engage this thing I get killed in like two blows! Am I too weak for this quest right now?

Thanks I'll try that. The manual says that RB will use the "next available health potion" So maybe it will use the medium health potions when the lesser ones are used up?

Also I want to make sure I'm using the block right. Is it simply holding the left trigger down? I've read that you can use shields offensively for blunt damage. Is blocking with your shield or pushing back with it a passive move or can we trigger it?

I know I'm not those guys, but I thought I'd take a stab. I had the same problem. You probably are too low of a level. And when you do go back, make sure you have a bludgeoning weapon like a hammer or club or something.

                        Block is holding LT...
Think all skills you "Learn" show up on the icon list at bottom of screen when fighting. Then you hit appropriate button to do the move. So if you have some favorites just make sure they are mapped. My favorite so far is the "pull shield" or whatever it's called...

                        Hopefully I answered correctly....

Yeah good point. Make sure you see what the enemy is immune to and stay away from that type of attack.

Thanks! I thought I was totally doing something wrong. Good, I like this game already. In Oblivion I did not have the problem of going into a cave too early, this is how old school rpg's are supposed to play. Ok, I am going to retreat for now, but when I return, let's just say it won't be pleasant for Mr. Skeleton.
