    Re: Two Worlds II Impressions

I think somebody fell asleep on the blur button and just decided not to fix it. I was able to get the console commands to work to get rid of the movement blur, but couldn't get the distance blur command to work, bad thing is you would have to enter them every time. Just turning off the movement blur made it MUCH better, but the distance blur is just as bad.

Somebody should be slapped for putting all this blur into the game, and then slapped again for not making a setting to turn it off.

It's unplayable at default levels. Maybe I'll see if my old digital camera can take video good enough to show the PS3 version (I'm assuming it's way different). At default, I feel like I'm playing without my glasses.

Wow. I'm really glad I have the PC version if it's that bad. I love the look of the PC version. It's a beautiful game really. Watching the sun glare off of the rocky road, some VERY nice touches.

That's strange because I haven't had the same issues on my PS3. I'm going to check for what you are talking about the next time I play.

                Re: Two Worlds II Impressions

I am hooked on this game. Once you get past the first couple of hours it's like a different game. I am 6 hours deep and still have not finished the 1st chapter of the main story.

Anyone who likes RPG's owes it to themselves to try this out for more than 1-3 hours before passing judgement. I almost gave up at the start but I am glad that I kept at it.

Does anyone know what regressions are? I gave that dude $500 and I have not seen jack happen yet.

The camera did OK, it's a little dark but I think you can see how close things start to blur, for instance when I shot the cheetah it was blurry.

This shows how close things blur:

If it wasn't for the blur issue, PS3 version looks good:

                    Re: Two Worlds II Impressions

I actually think that PS3 & 360 users can use the PC Console Cheats, and you could disable the motion blur. You'll have to look on the net, but I know you can do it on 360, not sure about PS3.

OH... and for those of you who are close to beating the game... DO NOT go back into Castle Vahkomar or whatever it's called after you leave it for the last time in the storyline. I made the mistake of going in...and I couldn't get back out. Went EVERYwhere, and could not get out. The teleport is deactivated, and the door you came in, isn't functional.

So I had to reload an older save.

Still having a great time though.

I did that in the video, that's why I went back out to the main menu in the middle. I just can't get the depth of view command to work.

360 version isnt that bad..... Only once so far has the blur been very bad and that was after playing for a long time so I'm thinking it was a memoryissue or something.
The visuals and world are beautiful though....
PS3 version just must have some issues...

I bet that's it!!! I was messing around with some of the options a while back and I do remember seeing something about motion.....
I'll have to check this weekend and see if I turned it on. That has to be it becasue I've only seen it bad once or so....

All the console commands reset after you exit the game.
