I literally have no clue what I'm doing. Just riding around on the horse I found at a camp. I was trying to get an undamaged ostrich lung, but couldn't figure out how to do it undamaged, lol.

I'm having a blast with it though.

Is there a way to scale or climb?

I think all you need to do is kill the ostrich. Then grab the lung.
I have 3 in inventory

As far as climbing/scaling... Just what you can jump up on etc....
There are some ladders in the villages etc.. that you can't use. But some in caves that are used for exits.

I hate it when games have ladders but don't let you use them lol

and I'm also having some serious fun. Your at the beginning basically and as you keep going and get the game down and get more abilities etc.. the game really opens up to more fun

I'm adding a lot to my strength and Endurance early on. I haven't even touched the other skills. I haven't bought anything other than health potion, but I'm loving this. Having a great time.

If people are overlooking this game, then they really shouldn't. I'm glad I went with the UK download, lol. I ALMOST waited to get it today, but the US version was pushed back 3 days. I'm hoping I don't miss out on anything with this version, but I'll take the 3 day advantage. If I miss out on something with the UK version, I may get the 360 version a little later down the road too. Overall, very, very fun.

Totally agree... Whats weird is I've seen some stellar reviews in the mix.

Frankly I just think there are too many "alliances" with certain franchises.
Just irritates me that a game like this that is TONS of fun despite some minor flaws may be overlooked due to some crappy reviews.

Anyways I don't think I've bought health in a good while now that I have a few potion recipes for health... Comes in handy!

Yeah, I just now started in with Alchemy, just delivered the mint roots early on... and got the book. Very handy indeed. Also, pretty easy to earn money slaughtering the animals out on the range, and taking things back and selling them. Even as far as selling plants and flowers for cash. I made a quick 4k just killing some poo throwing monkeys and ostriches,

Just bought a leather helmet too. Still not sure what I'm doing with the crafting weaponry and armor. With the jewels, etc. But I'm having a great time with it. I can see myself playing for quite some time. It's really hard to get my "bearing" with where I am in this game, vs Oblivion though. There aren't the "key" landmarks that I'm used to seeing.

Definitely looking forward to some more time with the game. It's the wife's birthday tomorrow, so looks like I lose out on gaming tomorrow

The water is absolutely amazing in this game. I just swam to the lighthouse after running the horse race. A lot of fun. I had no clue they had the guilds in this game, ala Oblivion.

Seems like this will take quite a bit of time off of my hands. I'm still only a level 9 guy too... Very weak. I can't wait to start getting some nice armor and swords.

I'm up to level 22 now. In the middle of Chapter 2. And yeah the water is pretty darn cool looking.

I don't think that's it. This is a flawed game and for some that is hard to deal with. Hell the instruction manual has the title THE STORY SO FAR over the page that shows how the control works. Hit detection can be wonky. The in-game map isn't very intuitive, etc. So it is no surprise that the game is taking dings.

I think this game is like....is like...Godzilla movies. Fans of Godzilla enjoy them as their own genre, but many other people cannot sit through many of the newer movies. This game has a certain charm and heart, but one has to have patience with it....and it certainly cannot be compared to some of the bigger titles. It's just not in the same category.

I'm actually having a heck of a lot of fun with the game. Just got back to doing the main quest, going through the first chapter. I may have made a mistake in killing someone during a side quest who really could have helped made my life easier in the main quest... but I love your actions having consequences.

The first one was a lag fest and overall crap fest. I still have it though as i liked the magic.
TW2 is a LOT better tban the first. Even though i still dont like the horse riding but even thats better. Like stated before as you learn more and more things(combat moves, skills and magic) thedes a lot of fun and pption tobe had.
If youre not hung up on perfection and just want a very fun game despite some flaws, then its a game to play.
