Good deal. Do you think the terrain is more restrictive than Oblivion? Or is it just because I'm still right around the first "broken" bridge, and the outlying areas? I really want to jump into the game, but the little one is demanding my attention right now.

Not all all... There were actually some areas I was able to scale some rocks to cut out some distance. But once I got over I could come back that way but at least it shortened the trip there.

Oh I made a Walk on Water Spell while playing around......Never know...that may be usefull later on.

Just finished chapter one and am going to do a lot of the guild missions before going on. Doesnt take long to get quests built up to do...

yeah and plus the Map stuff is TONS better than TW1. Can easily read the map and even marks all the side quests with a red X etc... very legible...

I've been mainly using 2 handed weapons also. Think I'm switching to 1 handed. That way I can either go 2 weapons or use a sheild....

and I'm gonna learn the Guitar

Is it rewarding to use a bow? I am a sucker for a good elven bow, needless to say Ranger is always my preferred class.

Yes it is. Especially if you learn the multi arrow stuff. Right now I can shoot 2 arrows at a time. Not sure how many it goes up to.

The upgrades/skills are:
Multi Arrow
Ranger Precision
Steady hand
Starting Draw
Quick Draw(I dont have yet)
Overdraw(I dont have)
Marksman(I dont have)
Fire Arrow(I dont have)
Ice Arrow
Distraction Arrow(You shoot an arrow and it create a diversion attracting nearby enemies after 12 seconds- or more if you upgrade- it explodes and does 40%-again upgradable damage)
Poison Arrow

So as you see there are TONS of things you can do and upgrade even on just the Bow/Arrow...

Right now I have a Bamboo Plaited Bow:
Slash Damage 150
Bludgeon Damage 150
Range 55m
Draw Time 1.5s
Weight 3
Slots 2

Arrows(which are also upgradeable. Also you never run out which I Love)
Mine:
Slash 236
Speed 23 m/s
Weight 3
Slots 2

Looks good to me..I know on longer shots I had taked earlier I had to aim a bit right as the arrow would fly left a bit. Don't know if that was wind caused or what... In any case its fun

Looks good to me..I know on longer shots I had taked earlier I had to aim a bit right as the arrow would fly left a bit. Don't know if that was wind caused or what... In any case its fun

I like the bowstring sound effect! I might have to get this even though I am currently smack in the middle of Dragon Age. I will have to give this some thought. Thanks Skyboxer.

I was doing a side quest to continue onward to get a horse... While out searching the valley for a certain animal, I came across a group of baboons. I got a little too close to them, and they started pooping and throwing it at me

Those friggin things tracked me all over the land throwing **** at me.

Great times...

I have a pretty decent fear of spiders and yes it does translate into games too a tad...
I "think" I'm about to tangle with one the size of a volkswagon.....
May go to a different quest....

Also I set my icons to small in the settings. Made it look less cluttered..
