I was never good with the Learjet. Just to wiggly for my taste. I could fly the heck out of the Cessna that was at default at Meigs Field in Chicago. Loved flying from San Francisco along the coast to LA Pumped about getting this game again.

        Re: Flight Simulator

I have played the flight simulator series, and they're awesome games. One thing I wanted though was a little more action. I highly recommend any of the IL-2 Sturmovik games. They're sim oriented WWII flight combat games. They cover the pacific as well as the eastern front. Just a suggestion for a great flight sim!

Jane's Combat Simulations Fighters Anthrology FTW!!! I just bought a new joystick a few days ago and pulled that game out and it's lots of fun, even though it does have crappy 1997 graphics. Problem is that after all these years of not playing it, I'm completely awful at it. Ah well, I'll get better as I play it more.

I used to have Flight Simulator 98, but I can't seem to locate that anymore.

Anyways, I'm going to buy a new laptop very soon and am trying to decide weather to get Flight Simulator 2004 or Flight Simulator X. I'd rather get X, but I'm not sure if the laptop I'm looking at will be able to handle it or not. FSX is a beast to handle.

Here's what I'm looking at right now: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-113-_-Product

Here's a Youtube video of the Fighters Anthrology game I'm referring to:

If you have a sweet computer to max out the graphics on the newest Flight Sim...Best graphics I have ever seen...In my life. It's not the fact that they have great textures...It's just the amount of detail they put in every little bump on the planet. They have my local airports to a T

They even have cars driving on roads....It's insane.

I have FS 2002,2004, and FSX. Out of those, FSX is the best. I even bought scenery upgrades (Ultimate Terrain X and Ground Effects X) and it's even better.

I'm also a longtime forum member at Flightsim.com. Loads of freeware there.

Oh god, I love these Flight sim games by MS. I spent hundreds of hours playing FS2000 & FS2004, can't run FSX for nothing. One day I'm going to get a rig especially for that game. After reading this I'm thinking of installing it again and looking for my flight stick.

I just wish they could release these on the 360. I'm sure they could make some peripherals to make the game run properly.

Seriously, M$ could make some cash. 60 for the game 60-100 for the sticks. I'd spend $120 on a really good next gen flight sim.
